About Program

The Barcelona Program for Interdisciplinary Studies (BaPIS) is the flagship of UPF’s strategy for internationalization and innovation. It is an opportunity for excellent students from UPF and abroad to participate in a multifaceted Fall and/or Winter School. Our hallmarks are a high-quality academic standing, and immersive active learning in a multicultural environment.

BaPIS consists of a wide range of courses with a multi-focal and interdisciplinary approach which break down the traditional knowledge areas. Their common focus is CREATIVITY. You will be participating actively in learning through hands-on activities, seminars and projects. Your contribution is crucial to introduce fresh ideas and diversity into the classroom.

A credit-bearing program, BaPIS is an excellent occasion to study at a first-ranked university and spend in Barcelona a semester or the full academic year. Free-movers and visiting students are wellcome.
