A CATastrophe of a semester

Who cares about the cool places you'll visit with Study Cats Abroad, I spent my entire semester in struggle city! I was so excited about this program, as I am a HUGE cat lover and hope to one day be a successful cat lady. However, I am embarrassed to admit that I am allergic to cats. When applying for the program, I asked my study abroad advisor if allergy medication would be provided for those of us with allergies, and I was reassured multiple times that it would be and not to pack my own. Lo and behold, once we arrive in our first destination and my allergies start acting up, there was NO medication. I basically wheezed and sneezed my way through the semester. I couldn't even enjoy the cool cities we visited, as my eyes were too puffy to see properly. I guess the accommodations were alright, though.

MEOW-WOW!

Can't say enough good things about my semester with Cats Abroad. I learned so much about my feline friends and have such a deep respect for them. A highlight of the program was jumping off buildings and landing on all fours - it was so scary but fun! I'm so glad they let me bring my cat along too. I can't imagine going more than four hours without patting my sweet Sophie on the head.

What would you improve about this program?
I had a few issues with the support staff identifying as "dog people." Overall they were okay though.
