This learning to teach English as a foreign language experience has been a very relaxed one. I did not have to leave home, South Africa, to engage with the content. The staff support was amazing, agile, and friendly. The content was a gradual build-up of stuff I knew and a lot of material that developed my English grammar and increased my confidence in teaching the language. Through this learning experience, I am making inroads to travel overseas as I am currently applying to teach English abroad. I am feeling positive as one with a new lease of life🙂

The TEFL Academy was absolutely fantastic in providing the necessary information needed to become a qualified TEFL teacher. I also had the opportunity of attending the 19 hour practical lesson which made a big difference in how I approached my assignments. It created a solid foundation for the coursework and I am grateful I could afford this process.

I recently completed my TEFL Level 5 certificate. I was a bit bummed that I didn't do the level 5 or know about it earlier because it had a lot of the work in that I had already completed in the normal 120 hours TEFL course. So it's better to just do the level 5 from the beginning. The TEFL Academy has a great support system they respond to your requests really quickly. I actually forgot to extend my time to complete my certificate, and two weeks later, they were still willing to help me without charging me extra.

The TEFL Academy truly delivered on its promise to prepare me for teaching English abroad. The course was incredibly well-structured and provided me with a solid foundation in teaching methodologies, classroom management, and lesson planning. I especially found the video's on their Youtube and their feedback to be invaluable. My experience in the TEFL Academy was more than wonderful, doing the course at my own pace was great as the course did not get in the way of our busy everyday lives as individuals with responsibilities. Tefl academy helped me to achieve my level 5 168-hour TEFL certificate from South Africa, whereas I would like to teach online and gain experience to go overseas.

I am also finishing my undergrad degree and working full time as a teacher assistant as well as being a teacher; my life is busy, but somehow, due to the convenience of TEFL Academy, I got my certificate.

I’m grateful for the experience and excited to put what I’ve learned into practice.
