Combined Level 5 TEFL Course in South Africa

I recently completed my TEFL 5 Diploma through The TEFL Academy and I am incredibly impressed with the level of education and support that I received throughout the program. I initially had concerns that revisiting the cold and repetitive intricacies of academic English would be tedious let alone boring, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the course was not only engaging but also satisfying and nostalgic in a sense. I would encourage potential students to do the combined course as the peer-to-peer teaching practice is priceless and has prepared me to teach and boosted my confidence. I have learnt so much doing this course. I started at the beginning of the year and unfortunately had a few distractions so it took me a bit longer to complete it, however it was so worth it. I know feel so confident going into a new job teaching English overseas and I feel that I can always rely on the TEFL Academy to guide me in future endeavours. I was able to step out of my comfort zone and learn new ways of teaching and surprise myself by being creative. I would recommend this course for everyone as I think it is a great certificate to have if you ever want to try something new or travel. I can’t wait to use what I have learnt in my career going forward.

This course was very well put together, very well thought out and organised. This level 5 course was put in great detail. For someone with no teaching degree or teaching experience, this course brought out teaching capabilities I did not think I had. With the 20 hour, face to face part of this course, it really helped me to recognise how teaching could come so naturally to me. The materials are there to constantly go over when needed. When help is needed, they are easy and fast to reach. Quality.

I recently completed the TTA TEFL combined level 5 course and I had an amazing experience! The course is very well put together and I defenitely learned a lot! I truly believe that I have also improved myself as a person throughout this course. I thoroughly enjoyed all the units since they were very well explained and the website is well built, and easily guided me through my learning. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve themselves or open up opportunities for themselves.

It was not a difficult program and it gives you all the tools you will need to learn how to teach a language to someone and it also give you a buff on your vocabulary and English usage. You do need to study on your own so it entails you to have a strong will to go through the course. When you do your assignments be sure to read through the instructions with careful understanding and do not be afraid to contact if you need any help because there are people who will assist you when you need it. In all it was a good learning experience.

It took me a few extensions, but I eventually completed my TEFL course. I enjoyed the depth in which the different units were written for the student. You could read the unit parts as many times until you have fully understood. The tests at the end of every unit are insightful as this is where you get to test your knowledge. The lesson plan examples were also amazing; easy to understand and endless ideas on how you can plan your future lessons. the technical, admin and tutor support is superb, you can always follow up with a phonecall and a friendly voice is always there to solve an issues you may have. Cannot fault this course.
