About Program

Have a unique volunteer experience in Argentina through Mente Argentina's carefully designed program. This is the perfect way to meet new friends, immerse oneself in the Argentine culture and make a difference in the world.

As part of the Mente Argentina Volunteer Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, you will work on locally run projects that benefit the community and improve the environment in which they live. You will become part of the local community in Buenos Aires and have the kind of authentic cultural experience that tourists dream about. While working on your project, you will make lasting friendships and meet fun travel companions. You will also have time free to travel and head out on your own adventures or explore Argentina and South America with other Mente Argentina participants!

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.

A dream come true!

Mente Argentina is an incredible organization that has been there for me every step of the way to letting my dream of going to Buenos Aires come true. I always wanted to go to Argentina, and I am so grateful that in my internet search I encountered Mente. Actually from this moment, I felt that going to BA was actually something that I would be able to achieve!!

Mente's staff is truly amazing, they have happily assisted me with everything I needed before during and even after my program's end date in Buenos Aires. 🤗 Their weekly activities were also always lots of fun and it shows that the staff loves their work and carries all their participants in their heart.

In general, my 5 weeks in Buenos Aires have been indescribable, amazing ones that I will never forget - a true dream come true. 🥹

Thank you so much Mente, absolutamente voy a volver!! 🤩

Would go back any time

Mente gave me a warm welcome in Argentina, they organised my arrival and already prepared a sim and metro card. The apartment was wonderful and had a rooftop terrace, I could not wish for something better 🤩 The volunteering program and weekly activities they organised were a lot a fun! We did an escape room, had a picnic in the park, had some nice lunches and went for some drinks. If you are looking for a nice volunteering opportunity while meeting people from all over the world Mente is the right choice 😀

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Buenos Aires is a nice and safe city, I never felt unsafe.
