About Program

Our teaching project aims to provide sustainable educational support within disadvantaged schools and communities to reduce inequality in education. Through our volunteers, we aim to empower underprivileged students by improving their future prospects and equipping them with the skills needed to actively engage in a multi-national community.

ROLE OF TEACHING VOLUNTEERS
The main role is to be a classroom assistant, although some volunteers choose to teach their own class. The children study various subjects including Physical Education (Coaching), ICT, Science, English etc

REGULAR ACTIONS TO HELP ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS.
1. Assisting the class teacher
2. Giving homework
3. Assisting with slow learner 4. Marking exercises
5. leading games (Coaching)
6. Planning lessons

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
