About Program
EHN have run a number of medical camps organized and funded through EHN volunteers that have provided basic medical care for around 4,000 people in the past. They usually run in the summer months and are based in one of the rural communities that have little or no access to medical care. They provide free medical care and run by a team of international & Nepali medical volunteers and provide some basic medicines and care but will refer anyone with a serious complaint to the hospitals in the nearest town. Depending on your medical experience will depend on what you will be doing on the medical camp and please note you will never be asked to anything you don`t have experience on.
We don`t run these camps on a set basis but wait until we can recruit enough medical volunteers and then set a date so if you are part of a medical team and would like to run your own, please get in touch.
