Swim / teaching experience. To be eligible to participate as a SwimTayka volunteer, you must be either a certified swimming instructor, have previous experience teaching swimming or have extensive open water swimming experience. In any two-week session, at least one swim teacher must have previous experience as a swim instructor.
A passion for swimming is most important.
Nationally recognised certifications from your home country in lifeguarding, swim instruction, or open water swimming experience.
Volunteers must carry individual International travel insurance with policy coverage for swimming and water-related activities, medical and political emergency evacuation.
