The Las Piedras Amazon Center collaborates with local communities and neighboring landowners to reduce our impacts on the land and the river, to support more sustainable living and working environments in the area, and to model green living for ecotourists and other visitors from around the world. Volunteers will experience creating sustainable spaces and communicating the ideas behind them, as well as practice skills in construction and cultivation. The program engages volunteers with a devoted team of innovators from around the world and from the neighboring communities develop infrastructure, food sources, water capture and renewable energy for the benefit of all.
