About Program

Travel to East Africa for your volunteer service. Tanzania stands for the vastness of the Serengeti, the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro, and the Nongoro Crater, the largest crater in the world, inhabited by numerous animals.

Not only the landscape is diverse with volcanic landscapes, rainforests and lava deserts. Hundreds of different ethnic groups live here. Arusha is the tourist capital of Tanzania and is located at an altitude of 1,450m at the foot of the green Mount Meru. The famous Massai regularly present their arts at various markets and it is worth a trip to one of their villages.

Our RGV projects in Arusha, Dar es Saalam, Mtwara, Iringa and on Zanzibar are dedicated to the care and education of children and women, medical volunteer work in clinics and in obstetrics, ecological farm work and house building and wildlife & animal protection with e.g. turtles, horses and other various animals.

Yes, I recommend this program

Best Time of my Life !

I was with RGV in Tanzania and can really say that it was a great enrichment for my life. Before my departure, I was a little afraid of what to expect, but the team of RGV advised me well and also informed me about what cultural differences there are and what I should pay attention to, etc.. When it finally started I felt well prepared.

In Tanzania I helped out at a school and afterwards I participated in the turtle project on Zanzibar. I will never forget the impressions I gained there for the rest of my life. I thank everyone for the wonderful time and can only recommend the projects to everyone.

What was your funniest moment?
I really can't say that. You get so many new experiences and meet so many great people. I laughed on so many days and am incredibly grateful for every single moment!
