About Program
Volunteer Africa has been active since 1996. Our community placements attract approximately 250 participants each year. Our vision is to provide volunteers and students with hands-on experience in developing African communities. In addition to your studies, you will have an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience African culture, life, its stunning natural beauty, and diverse wildlife.
Our community programs prioritise empowering local communities and assisting individuals living in poverty.
You can observe Tanzania's daily life and culture while witnessing the growth of one of Africa's fastest-growing economies.
Students will engage in and assist in managing the NGO's daily operations. Simultaneously, you gain valuable experience in running an NGO in developing Africa.
Your main focus is to assist the NGO team in program and project management tasks.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in.
