Medical and Healthcare placements - Outreach International

We support a number of projects in the healthcare environment, suitable for those who are either studying, or are part/newly qualified or experienced healthcare professionals.

Opportunities include: community clinics in Africa, a large hospital in Ecuador, a community hospital in Nepal, and community healthcare programs and special needs schools and care centres in many destinations.

Studying and qualified physical therapists (physiotherapists) and occupational therapists are required in particular, as well as speech and language therapists.

Volunteering provides healthcare professionals with the opportunity to take a constructive career break, to gain experience of healthcare in a developing country, and the chance for a newly qualified professional to gain valuable experience. For gap year and medical students it provides a valuable insight into a future career choice.
