It takes time to find the right internship for each person, and we take this process very seriously.; Initial interview with one of our team to gauge your skills, interests, and desired learning outcomes.; An academic internship eligible for university credit. Check with your university to confirm if this internship qualifies for credit or alternatively we can assist you with purchasing transfer credits.; An orientation program with your supervisor; Supervision and support during your internship; Regular check-ins with Roots and your supervisor; Troubleshooting if needed; A reference letter at the end of your internship; Internship start and end dates are flexible.

Roots Interns offers a variety of remote internship opportunities with flexible schedules and a variety of focus areas. Choose to intern with a nonprofit, NGO, or innovative startup that aligns with your interests and passions to build professional communication and soft skills. Diversify your resume with remote work experience and be eligible to receive university credits or fulfill thesis/research requirements. Launch your career and gain practical skills while making a positive impact and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

No matter if your passion lies in community development or conservation, our team will collaborate with you to find an internship placement that best matches your interests, background, and learning goals.
