Roles and Responsibilities - Teaching and Learning
• To plan, prepare and deliver an academic early year’s programme which facilitates an active learning
experience for all children, in line with the Montessori method of teaching, and mission and objectives of
HTNIA
• To assess, track and evaluate levels of progress and provide feedback to ensure that each child has the
opportunity to succeed
• To manage the classroom environment so that it supports and encourages learning
• To always set high expectations, which motivate, challenge and encourage children
• To identify and meet children’s varying needs
• To work towards developing the best combination of Chinese and international learning in a bilingual
context
• To ensure outstanding pastoral care and that all safeguarding policies are followed
