I am so delighted to study Chinese at Keats School. This learning journey has brought me abundant gains and become an unforgettable and precious memory for me. When I first arrived here, I was immediately attracted by the campus environment. It is clean and tidy with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The quiet and pleasant setting is perfect for settling down and focusing on my studies. Free from restlessness, the whole campus is filled with a strong passion for learning, which puts me in a great state of mind for every class.

Apart from the wonderful surroundings, every teacher at Keats School is exceptionally friendly, warm‑hearted and patient. Gentle and sincere, the teachers pay close attention to each student’s progress. They take the initiative to help us deal with various academic and daily difficulties. As someone far away from home, I felt so much warmth here, and my nervousness and awkwardness in this new place faded away completely.

Among all the teachers, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my Chinese teacher. She is gentle and meticulous with outstanding teaching skills. Her lively and interesting lessons changed my impression that language learning can be boring. In class, she explains knowledge points step by step, patiently tutors me on my weak areas, and carefully corrects my pronunciation, grammar and sentence structures. Thanks to her professional teaching, I have quickly mastered a great deal of practical Chinese knowledge and made remarkable progress in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

More than just classroom teaching, my teacher designs personalized study plans based on my situation. She shares plenty of effective Chinese‑learning strategies, telling me how to review and accumulate knowledge after class and how to overcome learning obstacles. She has pointed out a clear direction for my future Chinese studies. It is her thoughtful guidance and valuable advice that keep improving my Chinese and fill me with confidence to master this language.

During my time here, I have gained not only knowledge but also personal growth. I sincerely appreciate my teacher’s careful instruction and tender company, as well as the high‑quality learning experience provided by Keats School. I treasure this precious study experience and have made up my mind to keep improving my Chinese. Therefore, I have decided to come back to Kunming and continue my studies at Keats School next summer vacation.

This was an incredible program that I couldn’t recommend enough. Lijiang is an incredible place to study Mandarin in; the city is rich in history, the scenery is second to none and the people are some of the kindest I have ever met. Throughout my study at Keats Lijiang, I felt completely supported by my teacher, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable stay. I really valued how immersive the experience was, the excursions and day trips allow you to practice the language in local environments and experience the beauty of Lijiang. Living in the ancient town was also an incredible experience. The lessons were fun and engaging, my teacher tailored the lessons to my needs and provided wonderful guidance throughout my time with Keats. 10/10 experience!

I was a bit nervous about coming to China to study Mandarin since I had never been to Asia before. I decided to study at Keats after reading numerous positive reviews online and watching YouTube videos, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

The first thing I appreciated was the simplicity. You pay a single fee, and everything is taken care of for you—airport pickup and drop-off, meals, and housing.

Second is the location. Kunming has amazing weather year-round and is surrounded by many beautiful places to travel and explore.

Third is the instruction. I had four hours of one-on-one classes every day, and over my seven-week stay I saw my Mandarin improve dramatically.

If you want to study abroad in China, this is the place. The advisors were also fantastic. Whenever I had a question or concern, there was always someone available to help.

I did a 2 week course in Keats Chengdu with 1:1 for 6 hours/day, and absolutely loved my time there! It's great you can stay right on campus and the classrooms and canteen are just a few meters away. Food was great, lots of different dishes to try each day! My teacher 王静 was just great, I learned soo much in this 2 weeks, and also had a lot of fun while learning! The great thing was that she was really flexible, when I was tired we learned at a slower pace, when I was full of energy that day we even learned more than planned for that day! I loved the activities provided by the school, we learned how to play Mahjong, went to see Pandas, went to eat Hot Pot or on a night market... I will come back for sure!

My time learning Chinese at Keats Beijing has been fantastic. The campus features bright, roomy classrooms. Situated in Jianguomen embassy area in downtown Beijing, it enjoys unbeatable accessibility to all parts of the city. The support staff provides efficient service and always replies to my needs rapidly.

I study with Teacher Du, who is an outstanding educator. Her teaching is clear and engaging. She adapts lessons to match my learning goals, patiently fixing my mistakes and building up my confidence to communicate in Mandarin. I have improved noticeably after studying with her.

Beijing offers an amazing living experience for international learners. You can explore ancient cultural sites and taste delicious local cuisine everywhere. Thanks to Keats’s great central location, I can freely arrange city trips after class. If you plan to study Mandarin in Beijing, Keats is an excellent choice.

Learning Mandarin at Keats was an absolute highlight for our entire family! I had the privilege of being taught by Ms. Lucy (罗茜), who is simply a brilliant educator. She has a remarkable gift for breaking down complex grammar and tones into clear, digestible lessons that made even the trickiest concepts feel easy. Beyond her teaching skills, her endless patience and genuine kindness created an encouraging space where I never felt shy about making mistakes. She constantly pushed me to speak more, gave constructive feedback on the spot, and always paused to ensure I truly understood each point before moving on.

My two kids were equally fortunate to have Ms. Alice as their teacher. She kept them thoroughly engaged, and she had a wonderful way of gently guiding their pronunciation with encouragement and positivity. She had a true gift for connecting with young learners, and my kids absolutely adored every moment in her classroom.

Beyond the classroom, we loved the group activities exploring Chengdu's fascinating sights. It was fantastic to practice our new skills in real-world settings. Keats flawlessly accommodated all three of us at our individual levels, and it was so special to share this journey together. We left Chengdu with vastly improved Mandarin and incredibly fond memories of our amazing teachers. I wholeheartedly recommend Keats, Ms. Lucy, and Ms. Alice to anyone seeking a top-quality, supportive, and truly enriching language experience!

Kunming was perfect and the school was great to help with recommendations and activities, everything was super fun. Lots of like minded learners with a range of abilities and all very open to new experiences. Keats team were fabulous and helped me a lot, from tailoring each lesson to ensuring that I had the best time on holiday, and the offering of free activities plus extra bonuses like calligraphy and music were amazing. Kunming in the summer is also fantastic to avoid the Chinese summer heat. And did I mention the food? Wow. It’s not mega spicy like some places and has a huge range of influences from indigenous peoples, and as my teachers explained also from the influx of internal migrants bringing their own tastes. Things like Yiliang duck, er kuai, tofu brain (it’s just mushy tofu!), rice noodles, and the endless mushrooms… Keats were super helpful with everything.
