Very Thankful for My Time at XMandarin

As a mature student from Japan, I was a little nervous about joining a group class at first. However, XMandarin made me feel very welcome from the beginning. The teachers are very kind and patient, and they explained everything clearly, even when I needed extra time to understand. The class atmosphere was very friendly, and I appreciated that students of different ages and backgrounds could all study together. I never felt out of place. Every lesson was enjoyable, and little by little, I became more confident in speaking Chinese.

Spending six months at XMandarin was an amazing experience

At first, everything felt a bit fast, new sounds, new characters, a different way of thinking. But very quickly, with the support of the teachers and the small group classes, I started feeling more comfortable. Every week I noticed small improvements, even if sometimes it didn’t feel like it right away.

What I liked the most was how practical the classes were. We didn’t just learn grammar; we practiced speaking, listening, and using Chinese in everyday situations. That made a real difference when living in Qingdao.

Outside of class, the school organizes cultural activities, but honestly, some of my best memories are just walking around the city, talking with local people, trying new foods, and realizing I could actually have conversations.

Six months was the perfect amount of time to build a strong foundation. It’s not easy every day, but it’s absolutely worth it. I’m really grateful for this experience.

Great Experience Learning Chinese at XMandarin

I joined a group course at XMandarin while I was living in Qingdao, and it was honestly a really good experience. The classes were small, so everyone got a chance to speak and ask questions. The teachers were super friendly and patient, and they made the lessons easy to follow even when the material got tougher.

What I liked most was that it didn’t feel like a boring classroom — we practiced real conversations, played games, and even learned some slang and cultural tips you wouldn’t get from a textbook.

If you're looking for a relaxed but effective place to study Mandarin, I’d definitely recommend XMandarin. I learned a lot, made some good friends, and had a lot of fun along the way.

I recommend

I’m from Croatia and I spent 2 months studying Chinese at XMandarin in Qingdao and honestly, it was such a great experience. When I arrived, I didn’t speak a word of Chinese, but the teachers were incredibly patient and encouraging. They always made me feel comfortable asking questions, even when I was struggling.

What I appreciated most was how relaxed and friendly the atmosphere is. It never felt like a strict classroom more like learning with friends. We laughed a lot during class, and at the same time, I could see myself improving day by day. The small class sizes really helped with that.

Outside of class, the school organizes cool events and cultural activities. I joined a dumpling-making workshop and a city tour, which were both super fun and helped me connect with other students. Also, Qingdao is an amazing city, clean, by the sea, and with a very chill vibe.

If you’re thinking about learning Chinese, I can recommend XMandarin. It’s not just a school it’s a little community where you learn, grow, and feel at home.

XMandarin Qingdao

XMandarin’s group courses are a fun and effective way to learn Chinese. The teachers are super patient and keep lessons engaging with real-life practice. The small class sizes mean lots of speaking time, which really helped me build confidence. One of my favorite moments was when our teacher took us to a local market to practice bargaining in Chinese it was both hilarious and super useful! Highly recommend comming to Qingdao there is a lot to explore and the food is also amazing. The school's location is also very convenient and close to the sea.

Super Helpful & Easy Process

XMandarin made the whole visa process so much easier than I expected! The team was super helpful from start to finish, guiding me through every step and making sure I had all the right documents. They were always quick to answer any questions, which took a lot of stress out of the process.

What I really appreciated was how organized and efficient everything was. They gave clear instructions, helped me meet deadlines, and were always there if I needed support. I never felt lost or overwhelmed, which is a big deal when dealing with visa stuff!

On top of that, XMandarin has an awesome community, great language classes, and really cool opportunities in Qingdao. If you’re thinking about coming to China to study or work, I’d 100% recommend their visa programit makes life so much easier!

Group Classes at XMandarin

Enrolling in XMandarin’s group classes was one of the best decisions I made while in Qingdao. From day one, the learning approach felt natural and engaging, with a strong emphasis on real-world communication. Instead of just memorizing vocabulary and grammar, we practiced speaking in practical situations, which made the language feel much more accessible.

The teachers brought incredible energy to every class, using creative teaching methods to keep us engaged. Whether it was role-playing conversations, interactive games, or group discussions, there was never a dull moment. The small class sizes also meant that we all received plenty of attention and had the chance to actively participate.

Beyond the classroom, XMandarin encouraged us to immerse ourselves in the language by exploring Qingdao and interacting with locals. This hands-on approach helped reinforce what we learned and made studying Mandarin an adventure rather than a task.
