Encouraging interaction and unrelenting progress, our beginner level courses mainly focus on practical Chinese speaking and listening, phonetics and characters. On the other hand, a higher level of classes tackles a higher level of content.

Join our group lessons to make new friends from all over the world and join our extracurricular activities, which include cooking classes, mountain hiking, cultural trips, and so on! Not only you'll be immersed in Mandarin Chinese: you'll get in touch with Chinese culture!

Engaging and Effective Group Classes at XMandarin

Studying Chinese at XMandarin was an amazing experience! The group courses in Qingdao were well-structured, interactive, and tailored to different learning levels. The small class sizes made it easy to participate and get personalized feedback from the teachers.

The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also really engaging, making learning Chinese fun and practical. We focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with plenty of real-life practice that helped me gain confidence in daily conversations.

On top of that, the school’s friendly atmosphere and cultural activities made it easy to meet other students and immerse myself in Chinese culture. If you’re looking for a great place to learn Mandarin in Qingdao, I highly recommend XMandarin!

Group Classes at XMandarin

Enrolling in XMandarin’s group classes was one of the best decisions I made while in Qingdao. From day one, the learning approach felt natural and engaging, with a strong emphasis on real-world communication. Instead of just memorizing vocabulary and grammar, we practiced speaking in practical situations, which made the language feel much more accessible.

The teachers brought incredible energy to every class, using creative teaching methods to keep us engaged. Whether it was role-playing conversations, interactive games, or group discussions, there was never a dull moment. The small class sizes also meant that we all received plenty of attention and had the chance to actively participate.

Beyond the classroom, XMandarin encouraged us to immerse ourselves in the language by exploring Qingdao and interacting with locals. This hands-on approach helped reinforce what we learned and made studying Mandarin an adventure rather than a task.

10/10 experience

After a few weeks at XMandarin in Qingdao, I can confidently say it's a great school. The teachers are not only experts in Mandarin but also incredibly supportive and engaging. I appreciate the extra effort they put into cultural events and practical help with things like visas and accomodation. They also have very flexible class times and the location is also very convenient and close to a lot of stores and restaurant and the sea. Overall it is a great Mandarin learning experience, XMandarin is definitely worth considering.

Best place to learn Chinese in China

We did thorough research before choosing this place to study Chinese and I definitely do not regret it! The teachers are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to provide you with not only the best teaching but they also help to adjust to China life. Coming from America there were a lot of new aspects of life that would be difficult to adjust to if not for the help the school provided! They also provide cultural experiences that can help the students experience China’s culture. I believe my Chinese has improved a lot due to this school. Thank you so much!

I only have one word to say, Thanks谢谢

I’ll never forget what happened in this place. I met so many people here and everyday was full of excitement and happiness. If I didn’t come to Qingdao and Xmandarin, I would have regret it for rest of my life. Teachers are thoughtful and answer all questions with sincerity and student are passionate about their classes. For me it’s perfect program and you can interact with everyone regardless of age and nationality so I strongly recommend this program! Still looking forward to being with more people🫶🏻

What was your funniest moment?
The second time I attended the class, we were watching some old Chinese animation about tadpoles looking for their mothers and one friend of the class said tadpoles as 金珠奶茶 when they were just born. It was so hilarious and I never thought we can tell jokes in a language that wasn't our native language. I think it's really attractive to talk in Chinese with people.
