My six-month stay in Qingdao with XMandarin was amazing! As someone who is half Taiwanese and speaks Chinese at home, I wanted to improve my skills and focus on reading and writing. I started with group classes, but I also added private lessons to dive deeper into specific areas. I made great progress in a supportive environment.

The Mandarin Chinese language course at XMandarin has been an amazing experience, the lessons being once a week is just enough as it fits in well to week to week schedules. The class I am in is very small, which is nice as it has given me more opportunities to have a personal teaching experience. The lessons go at a good pace, and it is very helpful that the teacher speaks only mandarin to us, as this has most definitely improved my listening comprehension skills. The content learnt includes dialogue that is helpful in day to day life and the grammar taught is done so in a way it is easy to understand. I would definitely highly recommend XMandarin to other students looking to expand on their Mandarin Chinese skills, also to those looking to just explore China itself, as having the lessons on the side really completes the experience.
