Studying in Sydney was the most amazing experience. Sydney is such a magical city and CAPA made the transition so much easier. CAPA offered a great support system and really created a community for all the students.

CAPA Sydney is a study center, so your classes and housing will be with other American university students - making it a different type of experience. So, if you are looking to meet locals, thats on you to branch out and make those connections.

Having an intern experience was a great way to get to know the city and opens a door into a different type of study abroad experience.

I am absolutely thrilled that I was chosen to have the opportunity to study abroad in one of my favorite countries. Being overseas allowed me to not only further my education in medicine, but it allowed me to have a wider outlook on life and gave me a sense of variety when it comes to the multiple patients I will have to face in the future. It was a very informative time and I was able to gather so much knowledge and understanding not only about myself but England as well. I am now well equipped to becoming a better person and doctor.

CAPA is a unique study abroad experience that gave me some amazing opportunities for personal growth. I studied in Barcelona in spring 2019. My specific program was small which at first was scary but it came with some amazing flexibility. The small class sizes allowed professors to personalize the coursework and even take us on trips to teach us lessons in terms of their lives in the city. This means professors could give us their unique take on living in Barcelona from the city rather than a classroom. I had friends in other programs in the city as well. Although these other students enjoyed their experience I honestly feel that CAPA did an exceptional job of encouraging immersion and providing a raw look at what it means to live in a global city. The internship opportunities are also something that stands out among study abroad programs that they provide. I cannot recommend CAPA highly enough!

I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia during the fall semester of 2019 and absolutely loved it! My semester was filled with travels to wonderful beaches, great food, and overall a great adventure for my independence. The classes at the CAPA center had wonderful professors that enjoyed helping students, and really cared about ensuring that our study abroad experience gave us enough time to enjoy the new country we were in as well! The city of Sydney itself was beautiful and featured easy transportation since CAPA paid for our transportation. The excursions that we went on were amazing, from a hike in the blue mountains with an energetic tour-guide to an overnight stay at the Toronga zoo where we got to see nocturnal animals at night and even feed giraffes their breakfast! A unique aspect of CAPA is the ability to also participate in an internship while abroad. I enjoyed it thoroughly because I was able to network with my employer there, improve my sparse resume, and learn information necessary to my future career once I graduate. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking for an incredible adventure where they can experience another country's culture, improve their resume, and become more independent!

Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I had a great time and learned so much. Alicante is a perfect city - easily walkable, on the beach, not too big but not too small. The people were friendly and their accent is not difficult to understand. I was also able to take a class taught completely in Spanish which was a cool learning experience.

The excursions were all awesome and I was glad we got to travel to other parts of Spain (Valencia, Granada, etc.) In addition, I was able to travel independently around Europe and see truly amazing places.

The CAPA program is overall a great program to participate in. CAPA definitely helps you adjust to the new city and environment by supplying so many things to do and giving advice about nearly any topic. Academically the professors are very smart and super easy to work with. I love the trips that I got to take and overall has a great time. I think the biggest thing when choosing CAPA is to really get outside your comfort zone. If you do not try to adjust and be cooperative you will not have a good time. CAPA was a great program and I would highly recommend it.

I loved getting to be a part of the city and learning how to navigate it with my roommates. We learned so much about the city by getting to immerse ourselves through interactions with people on the streets and in businesses. We lived in an incredible location that allowed us to walk to almost everything we wanted to see. The best part was getting to spend every evening in Piazza Navona eating gelato with my roommates. Some of us took similar classes and got to study together. We also got to go on two trips with our program, to Florence and Sorrento.

Studying abroad in Alicante with CEA provided me housing in the middle of a laid-back, beautiful city with a rich history and endless things to do and places to explore. This is a great city to experience the Spanish lifestyle without being overwhelmed by a big-city pace and atmosphere. The University teachers love what they do and as a result, have engaging classes with relevant assignments rather than busywork. With an excellent, quite simple public transportation system both within and outside the region, traveling up Costa Blanca could not be easier. My stay in Alicante gave me the time to get to know myself and discover what really matters in life, and the people I met taught me valuable lessons which I wouldn't trade for anything.

I was so nervous before studying abroad, as I had never been overseas for three months before. Now, I would go again in a heart beat!! CAPA organized an amazing program for all students, with wonderful representatives to help Americans feel comfortable and confident in their abilities while in Dublin.
I was able to meet so many incredible people while abroad, from all corners of the world. As Griffith College was a diverse community of international students, it allowed for a great academic opposition, where my ideas and perspectives were challenged by other students. The 20 other students in the CAPA program were a great deal of fun as well. I lived with 3 other students in the program, and we all got along so well and often spent evenings cooking together and spending our weekends abroad. I personally did not do an internship abroad, which made for some extra free time. Due to this, I travelled a great deal while in Ireland to mainland Europe. This was incredibly doable thanks to the accessibility of Dublin's airport.
Overall, this semester was one full of challenges, growth, and FUN! My semester abroad was easily the best three months of my life, and I would redo the program if I could. CAPA organizes a terrific program for students, and ensures that everyone feels confident, comfortable, and able to take chances while in Ireland. Whether you are branching out and meeting new people, travelling on your own, or taking classes outside of your major, this semester proposes challenges of all kinds that enable students to grow and develop faster than any US University campus. If you have the opportunity to study abroad, choose CAPA Dublin. Most amazing experience of my life.

Studying in Dublin, Ireland was the best decision I have ever made. Now, most people would probably say that after spending a month in another country exploring and learning about the local culture. However, this program is special because it was with CEA. The staff from CEA was willing to help me more than my own university! My program visited Galway for a weekend with a trip to the Cliffs of Moher and we also visited Belfast on a day trip to learn about the Troubles. Without CEA planning some trips, it would have been much more expensive to travel to all of the big attractions that Ireland offers. It was nice to be picked up outside of our housing, hop on a bus and be taken to our destination!
By studying through my home university and partnering with CEA, I was eligible for a scholarship from CEA which helped lower the overall costs. There are many scholarships available making your dream to study abroad possible and CEA is willing to help you!
