I spent several weeks studying Mandarin at Keats School in Kunming and it was one of the most rewarding learning experiences I’ve had. The one-on-one classes make a huge difference because every lesson is adapted to your level and goals. I could see real progress in my speaking and listening skills almost every day.

My teacher, Teacher Pi, was wonderful. She was patient, encouraging, and very skilled at explaining things clearly. She made the lessons engaging and focused a lot on practical conversation and pronunciation, which helped me feel more confident using Chinese in daily situations around the city.

Kunming is also a fantastic place to study Chinese. The climate is very pleasant and the city has a relaxed atmosphere. The local food is excellent, especially the Yunnan cuisine, and I was also surprised by how exceptional the coffee culture is here. There are many great cafés where you can relax, study, and practice Mandarin.

The staff at the school are welcoming and helpful, and the overall environment is very supportive for international students.

I highly recommend Keats School to anyone who wants to seriously improve their Mandarin while experiencing everyday life in China.

J’ai étudié le mandarin à Keats School à Kunming pendant plusieurs semaines et ce fut une excellente expérience. Les cours individuels permettent de progresser très rapidement, car les leçons sont adaptées à votre niveau et à vos objectifs.
Ma professeure, Teacher Pi, était patiente et très professionnelle. Elle expliquait les points difficiles de façon claire et encourageait beaucoup la conversation.
Kunming est aussi une ville très agréable pour étudier : le climat est doux, la nourriture y est excellente et la culture du café est étonnamment remarquable avec de nombreux très bons cafés.

Je recommande vivement cette école à toute personne souhaitant apprendre le mandarin en Chine.

Estudié mandarín en Keats School en Kunming durante varias semanas y fue una experiencia excelente. Las clases individuales permiten avanzar muy rápido porque las lecciones se adaptan a tu nivel y a tus objetivos.

Mi profesora, Teacher Pi, fue muy paciente y profesional. Explicaba todo de forma clara y hacía las clases muy interesantes, especialmente en conversación.

Kunming también es una ciudad muy agradable para estudiar chino: el clima es bueno, la comida es excelente y la cultura del café es sorprendentemente buena, con muchos cafés de gran calidad.

Recomiendo mucho esta escuela a cualquier persona que quiera mejorar su mandarín en China.

Sin da quando ero in Italia, il programma della scuola mi ha colpito per la sua organizzazione precisa e la quantità di attività proposte . quando siamo arrivati le professoresse si sono subito rese disponibili e carine nei nostri confronti , esaudendo ogni nostra necessità . abbiamo organizzato anche uscite aggiuntive la sera e il mio posto preferito è stato Jingli Ancient Street, dove abbiamo mangiato tante cose buonissime e tipiche . inoltre le lezioni mi hanno fornito un livello di cinese molto buono , con la professoressa abbiamo approfondito molti aspetti grammaticali utili e abbiamo svolto lezioni interattive.

Ever since I arrived in Italy, the school's program has impressed me with its precise organization and the variety of activities offered. When we arrived, the teachers immediately made themselves available and kind to us, fulfilling our every need. We also organized additional evening outings, and my favorite place was Jingli Ancient Street, where we ate so many delicious, traditional dishes. Furthermore, the lessons provided me with a very good level of Chinese. With the teacher, we explored many useful grammatical aspects and had interactive lessons.

È stata davvero una delle esperienze più uniche e indimenticabili che abbia mai vissuto. Ho passato una settimana piena di attività super interessanti, educativi e intrattenenti che hanno abbracciato Chengdu e la cultura cinese; inoltre volevo ringraziare particolarmente la nostra professoressa Amber che ci ha seguiti durante il nostro percorso di studi ma anche durante le attività fuori dalle lezioni ed è sempre stata molto carina e disponibile durante tutto il viaggio, rendendo questa esperienza ancora più unica!

It was truly one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences I've ever had. I spent a week filled with incredibly interesting, educational, and entertaining activities that embraced Chengdu and Chinese culture. I also wanted to especially thank our teacher, Amber, who supported us throughout our studies and during our activities outside of class. She was always so kind and helpful throughout the trip, making this experience even more unique!

Personalmente ho appezzato tutto ciò che la scuola ci ha fornito e le attività pomeridiane che ci ha proposto. Per quanto riguarda la nostra insegnante e guida, Amber, è stata veramente gentile e premurosa. Durante tutto l’arco della lezione ci ha seguito attentamente e cercando di farci capire a pieno ciò che stava spiegando. Mentre quando uscivamo ci aiutava nella traduzione qualora dovessimo comprare qualcosa. Ho amato Amber dal primo fino all’ultimo secondo, ritornerei solo per farmi fare lezione da lei.

Personally, I appreciated everything the school provided and the afternoon activities it offered. Our teacher and guide, Amber, was truly kind and thoughtful. Throughout the lesson, she followed us attentively, making sure we fully understood what she was explaining. As we left, she helped us translate if we needed anything. I loved Amber from the first to the last second; I would return just to have her teach me.

The experience was fun and helpful. I’ve learned so much in just a week and was able to hold a few conversations with a few merchants, thing that I wasn’t able to do before coming here. the food per se it’s very good and the cooks are really nice and polite. the scenery is stunning and the rooms, although a bit small, have very comfortable beds and warm bedding. the teacher, I studied with, Amber, is very sweet and ready to help. always trying to make us have fun with games and prizes while still learning. during her classes I really enjoy learning because she makes it so fun, especially when we played pingguodun. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with a wonderful teacher, and I’m very thankful.

Il cibo del campus é molto buono non sono piccanti, ma alcune volte qualcosina di piccante c`é,stanze sono molto carine.

Professore e Professoresse molto disponibili molto brave le lezioni sono divertenti a volte si fanno giochini ,le signore sono molto gentili.

Insomma un viaggio molto interessante molto fantastico.

Le Bambù towel sono super belle super affascinanti consigliate ad andarci.

ChengDu un posto splendido pieno di panda, persone molto simpatiche paesaggi magnifici！

Direi un viaggio divertente,incantevole e PERFETTO

The food on campus is very good; it's not spicy, but sometimes there is a little bit of spice. The rooms are very nice.

The professors are very helpful and very good. The classes are fun, sometimes they play games. The ladies are very kind.

All in all, a very interesting and fantastic trip.

The Bamboo Towels are super beautiful and fascinating. I highly recommend going there.

Chengdu is a wonderful place full of pandas, very nice people, and magnificent landscapes!

I would say it was a fun, enchanting, and PERFECT trip.

Ho passato una settimana piena di attività dallo studio all’esplorazione della città di Chengdu.

La scuola è molto carina, ha una sala comune, la mensa, terrazzo e un rooftop molto bello.

In caso di necessità, davanti alla scuola c’è un mini market h24.

La mia professoressa si chiama Amber, molto gentile e brava nelle sue spiegazioni, rendendo le lezioni meno noiose grazie a un misto tra attività di studio e giochi interattivi.

Durante il pomeriggio nelle attività extra scolastiche ha guidato molto bene il gruppo.

The school is very nice; it has a common room, a cafeteria, a terrace, and a beautiful rooftop.

If you need anything, there's a 24-hour mini market in front of the school.

My teacher, Amber, is very kind and good at explaining things, making the lessons less boring with a mix of study activities and interactive games.

During the afternoon, she led the group very well during extracurricular activities.

Chengdu è una esperienza bellissima in cui mi sono divertita tantissima. Ho imparato un sacco di cose nuove e provato tantissimi cibi nuovi. La scuola é molto interessante, purtroppo la notte/mattinq il jet leg si fa sentire però ci divertiamo molto e allo stesso tempo impari cose nuove. Il cibo è buono, molto speziato e sicuramente diverso dal nostro, ma tutto da provare. Abbiamo visitato molti posti tra i quali il parco dei panda, il people’s park e abbiamo provato a fare una lezione di konfu con il maestro.

Chengdu was a wonderful experience and I had a lot of fun. I learned so many new things and tried so many new foods. The school is very interesting, although jet lag can be quite noticeable at night and in the morning, but we had a lot of fun and learned new things at the same time. The food was good, very spicy, and definitely different from ours, but it was worth trying. We visited many places, including the panda park, People's Park, and even took a konfu lesson with the teacher.

Chengdu è una città bellissima con molti luoghi interessanti e facile da visitare a piedi, grazie alla vasta linea di metro. Le organizzatrici sono state sempre disponibili e molto carine, e soprattutto molto brave a spiegare la lingua cinese. I pasti ci sono stati tutti offerti dalla scuola e li ho trovati tutti molto gustosi e salutari. Ogni mattina avevamo lezioni di 4 ore e nel pomeriggio e sera potevamo partecipare alle attività proposte che erano molto varie, divertenti e interessanti. L’organizzazione e stata impeccabile e le camere erano comodissime nonostante fossero abbastanza piccole. Sono molto felice della mia esperienza e la consiglio a chiunque interessi la lingua e la cultura cinese e sia pronto ad una sfida.

Chengdu is a beautiful city with many interesting places and easy to explore on foot, thanks to the extensive metro line. The organizers were always available and very kind, and above all, very good at explaining the Chinese language. All meals were provided by the school, and I found them all very tasty and healthy. Every morning we had four-hour lessons, and in the afternoon and evening we could participate in the activities offered, which were very varied, fun, and interesting. The organization was impeccable, and the rooms were very comfortable despite being quite small. I'm very happy with my experience and recommend it to anyone interested in the Chinese language and culture and ready for a challenge.

Questa esperienza è stata personalmente molto bella, chengdu è una città piena di cose da scoprire, molto pulita e ordinata.

Grazie alle insegnanti di keats abbiamo avuto la possibilità di visitare tantissimi posti senza problemi e in tranquillità: si possono vedere templi, musei, parchi, strade piene di bancarelle con cibi tradizionali molto buoni ed economici, spettacoli e tanto tanto altro.

A scuola abbiamo imparato tantissime cose nuove in modo divertente ed interessante tutti insieme. consiglio molto questa esperienza!

This experience was truly wonderful. Chengdu is a city full of things to discover, very clean and tidy.

Thanks to Keats' teachers, we were able to visit so many places easily and peacefully: we saw temples, museums, parks, streets full of stalls with delicious and inexpensive traditional foods, shows, and much more.

At school, we learned so many new things together in a fun and interesting way. I highly recommend this experience!
