My time learning Chinese at Keats Beijing has been fantastic. The campus features bright, roomy classrooms. Situated in Jianguomen embassy area in downtown Beijing, it enjoys unbeatable accessibility to all parts of the city. The support staff provides efficient service and always replies to my needs rapidly.

I study with Teacher Du, who is an outstanding educator. Her teaching is clear and engaging. She adapts lessons to match my learning goals, patiently fixing my mistakes and building up my confidence to communicate in Mandarin. I have improved noticeably after studying with her.

Beijing offers an amazing living experience for international learners. You can explore ancient cultural sites and taste delicious local cuisine everywhere. Thanks to Keats’s great central location, I can freely arrange city trips after class. If you plan to study Mandarin in Beijing, Keats is an excellent choice.

Learning Mandarin at Keats was an absolute highlight for our entire family! I had the privilege of being taught by Ms. Lucy (罗茜), who is simply a brilliant educator. She has a remarkable gift for breaking down complex grammar and tones into clear, digestible lessons that made even the trickiest concepts feel easy. Beyond her teaching skills, her endless patience and genuine kindness created an encouraging space where I never felt shy about making mistakes. She constantly pushed me to speak more, gave constructive feedback on the spot, and always paused to ensure I truly understood each point before moving on.

My two kids were equally fortunate to have Ms. Alice as their teacher. She kept them thoroughly engaged, and she had a wonderful way of gently guiding their pronunciation with encouragement and positivity. She had a true gift for connecting with young learners, and my kids absolutely adored every moment in her classroom.

Beyond the classroom, we loved the group activities exploring Chengdu's fascinating sights. It was fantastic to practice our new skills in real-world settings. Keats flawlessly accommodated all three of us at our individual levels, and it was so special to share this journey together. We left Chengdu with vastly improved Mandarin and incredibly fond memories of our amazing teachers. I wholeheartedly recommend Keats, Ms. Lucy, and Ms. Alice to anyone seeking a top-quality, supportive, and truly enriching language experience!

Kunming was perfect and the school was great to help with recommendations and activities, everything was super fun. Lots of like minded learners with a range of abilities and all very open to new experiences. Keats team were fabulous and helped me a lot, from tailoring each lesson to ensuring that I had the best time on holiday, and the offering of free activities plus extra bonuses like calligraphy and music were amazing. Kunming in the summer is also fantastic to avoid the Chinese summer heat. And did I mention the food? Wow. It’s not mega spicy like some places and has a huge range of influences from indigenous peoples, and as my teachers explained also from the influx of internal migrants bringing their own tastes. Things like Yiliang duck, er kuai, tofu brain (it’s just mushy tofu!), rice noodles, and the endless mushrooms… Keats were super helpful with everything.

Since the first day the teachers have done everything in their power to make this a good experience for us the students. Since the first day when i lost my luggage the teachers have done their best to help us as exemplified by them going out of their way and biking to find my suitcase. They are always taking into consideration out opinions and preferences in everything we do from ordering food to going on excursions. They are very patient and happy to help in any way they can, and i am very grateful for the amazing experience they gave me!

Keats School provided thoughtful full support throughout my 5-week Chinese immersion trip, including clear pre-program communication, a personalized study and travel schedule, airport pickup and hassle-free transfers across seven cities (Shanghai, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, Kunming, Chongqing and Beijing), plus comfy accommodation close to classrooms and sights. I took customized one-on-one Mandarin lessons with dedicated Teacher Mrs Du; my listening skills and overall Chinese saw huge progress after targeted tutoring. I split my time between classes and cultural trips, staying in hotels and local accommodations to experience China’s diverse regional customs and master conversational Chinese. Every destination had it's unique appeal, yet Beijing left the deepest impression with its profound historic landmarks and timeless cultural heritage. This seamless, rewarding program filled many gaps in my self-taught Chinese, and I hope to join Keats again soon.

Lǐ Lǎoshī is such a warm, energetic teacher who customized every one-on-one lesson fully around my personal learning goals. She always slips in cute little local life tips during class that make learning feel so fun and down-to-earth, and she even remembers all my tiny little learning preferences to make every session feel extra thoughtful.
Even with private classes, the evening social events let me meet so many lovely fellow learners easily. The whole team (Lily, Wang and Willow) are always so welcoming and quick to help with any small request I had. The school’s home-style local Yunnan food is incredibly tasty, and my study room was perfectly fitted to all my needs. On top of that, Kunming’s mild, spring-like weather was such a nice escape from the sweltering summer heat back in Italy. I can’t recommend this school enough!

The Keats School's flexible teaching system served me well, particularly its convenient location, which was essential for easy access as I was coming from Europe. Shanghai is a metropolis that is especially friendly to those whose Chinese is not yet fluent, and where you can combine your study programme with weekend excursions to beautiful nearby historic places like Suzhou and Hangzhou etc.

My teacher, Ms. Wang, was always willing to tailor a course to meet my needs and help me improve in areas where I felt I need to advance. She was also very helpful in answering my questions about Chinese culture and society, which deepened my understanding of this immense country.

Above all, the one-to-one teaching programme was intensive enough to provide a truly rich learning experience. It was a great choice for me to study at Keats School.

Wonderful experience overall and one of the best decisions I have taken in a long time ! I came to Keats for one month to improve my spoken Chinese. In order to fully focus on my learning, I chose to stay at the school's dorm in Kunming. It is incrediby convenient as the rooms are a few stairs up the school. Each student can therefore access the canteen area and the classrooms in less than a few minutes ! The rooms are very quiet and clean. The staff is absolutely lovely, a special thank to Willow and Lili who are always so helpful in and out of school and make our life in Kunming a lot easier. I took one-on-one lessons 4h a day, which is great to improve fast as you cover a wide variety of topics with your teacher who design word cards during each class. My teachers were all kind, they are very flexible and adpat to your goals and expectations. One month was way too short and I already can't wait to come back to Keats and study for a longer time !

it was a fun experience to be able to learn English in Kunming, being able to make new friends and make memories in Kunming.
It was such a wonderful experience learning Chinese in Kunming. I have met many friendly classmates and made plenty of new friends during the course, and we created lots of precious memories together.
Kunming is known as the City of Eternal Spring with pleasant weather all year round. I have visited many amazing scenic spots here, especially Green Lake Park. I enjoyed walking around the lake, drinking coffee in nearby cafes and watching local people enjoy their free time. I also travelled to the Western Hills and wetland parks, and the natural views were breathtaking.
Besides sightseeing, I got a chance to try local special food like erkuai. I even dared to taste edible insects, which was a very special experience for me.
I really appreciate all the lessons and activities. The classes were lively and practical, and teachers always offered patient guidance. I will miss everything in Kunming deeply

From day one, the teachers and staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and dedicated to helping students succeed. The 1-on-1 intensive Mandarin program was tailored perfectly to my learning pace and personal goals, which helped my speaking and listening skills improve dramatically in a short amount of time. The school facilities are top-notch, clean, and very comfortable, making you feel right at home. Having delicious meals prepared daily was such a huge convenience, allowing me to focus entirely on my studies.
