My experience at LTL so far has been very fun and exciting! Even though I’ve not participated in many group outings I feel like part of a welcoming community. All the staff are helpful and always up for a chat.
The lessons with teacher Sissi are very nice, not too strict. In my opinion, the speed of the course can be adjusted pretty well since there aren’t too many people in one class.
There are students from many different cultures and backgrounds, so the community is diverse and interesting.

Jamie and Winnie at LTL are amazing Chinese teachers. They are patient, encouraging, and truly care about your progress. Their lessons are clear, engaging, and adapted to your level, which makes learning both effective and enjoyable.

Overall, I had a great experience at LTL. The stay was good, and I met some really fun people which made everything even better. It is a bit on the expensive side, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality of teaching and the progress you make.

I highly recommend Jamie and Winnie, as well as LTL, to anyone learning Chinese!

I booked a 2 weeks beginner group course and had an absolutely amazing time.

The organization of my visit before and during my stay was smooth. I learned a lot and will definitely continue my studies back home.

I stayed at a host family which was organized by TL as well. This was also super chill and made emersion into Chinese culture even easier.

Special thanks to our teacher Lilia. She did an amazing job and managed to tailor the vocab and lessons to our personal interests and backgrounds. Coming to her class was always so much fun and drastically improved my Mandarin.

I spent three weeks at LTL in Beijing and the experience was excellent! Everyone working at LTL Beijing is very welcoming and accommodating. The school also provided after class cultural activities around the city that we could participate in. My teacher Lilia was so engaging and very skilled at teaching us absolute beginners. She made the learning process fun and simple. I’m already planning to do another course with LTL in the future.

I participated in a group course. We went from very little knowledge of the Chinese language to speaking in sentences in a very short period.

I had a truly great experience learning Vietnamese with Linh in Hanoi, and I can confidently say that she is an exceptional teacher. From the very beginning, she created a comfortable and welcoming learning environment, which made it easy for me to feel relaxed and open to learning. What stood out immediately was how attentive she is—she really takes the time to listen carefully and understand your individual goals, strengths, and areas where you need improvement. Based on that, she adapts every lesson in a way that feels very personal and effective.

Her teaching style is highly interactive, which I found incredibly helpful. The lessons never felt one-sided or like a traditional classroom lecture. Instead, they were more like engaging conversations where I was actively involved the whole time. This approach made it much easier to stay focused and motivated, and it also helped me gain confidence in actually using the language rather than just passively understanding it. She strikes a great balance between structured learning and natural communication, which really accelerates progress.

Another thing I really appreciated was her flexibility. Whether it was scheduling lessons or adjusting the content on short notice, she was always accommodating and understanding. This made the whole experience much more convenient and stress-free, especially when plans changed. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her students’ progress and does her best to support them in a way that fits their individual situation.

Beyond just teaching the language, Linh also shared a lot about Vietnamese culture, which added a whole new dimension to the lessons. Learning a language is so much more meaningful when you also understand the cultural context behind it, and she was very open and enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and experiences. This made the lessons not only educational but also very interesting and enjoyable.

Overall, I can highly recommend Linh to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese in a supportive, engaging, and personalized way. She is a dedicated and skilled teacher who goes above and beyond to make sure her students feel comfortable and make real progress. If you’re looking for lessons that are both effective and enjoyable, she is definitely the right choice.

I had a wonderful experience during my two-week language course in Hanoi with my two teachers, chị Hien and em Linh!

The course was incredibly enriching. Both teachers were extremely friendly, dedicated, and always helpful. They created a pleasant learning environment where I always felt comfortable and well supported, and they also addressed my individual learning needs.

In my 1:1 course with em Linh, we not only practiced reading but also talked about Vietnamese culture in depth, which I found particularly enriching. This also helped me improve my speaking skills and gain more confidence when speaking. I also received additional learning materials, for which I am very grateful. 💗

I gained so much from the vietnamese course, both academically and personally, and I am very grateful to both of them for this wonderful experience!

I was very happy because I was in a difficult situation. Another school I had already contacted informed me, almost on the same date I was planning to start my Chinese classes, that they had canceled my level’s class. They suggested that I join a beginner-level class instead.

However, I couldn’t accept that offer, so I started searching for another option. At that time, this school arranged a class that was suitable for my level. After finishing my term, I asked your staff to prepare another one-month course for me, and now they are in the process of arranging it.

I completed the 2 week intensive classes 1:1 at Taipei LTL and I really enjoyed my experience. I believe I received what I paid for, as the classes were 'intensive' and filled with constant Mandarin learning! My teachers - Jessica and Chienyi were patient with me and helpful with answering my questions. Their teaching methods were diverse which helped me consolidate my learning. I also enjoyed the conversations during class and how the teachers would allow time for this. It was what I requested for my lessons to be like ('conversational' alongside with studying the textbook, grammar, etc.).

I also stayed with a lovely Taiwanese family who were very accommodative and patient with me when I spoke Mandarin. I also enjoyed the conversations I had with them very much. They took care of me well and I had a great experience during my first time in Taiwan.

I spent two weeks at LTL Beijing as part of a six-week trip through China, and it was honestly one of the highlights of my entire journey. In just a short time, I met so many amazing people who quickly became friends.

The staff were incredibly welcoming from day one, which immediately made me feel at ease. My teacher Lilia deserves a special mention. She was both warm and attentive, always mindful of how I was progressing, yet still managed to pack in a impressive amount of vocabulary and grammar. I left every class feeling like I’d genuinely learned something.

Beyond the lessons, LTL offered a great variety of activities that brought closer the chinese culture and history.

Summing up my experience at LTL, I have to give 5 stars and I’m already thinking about coming back to take my Mandarin further. I would recommend LTL to anyone looking to learn Chinese in an engaging, friendly environment!
