你们好！It was the first time I went to Beijing, hence I wanted to learn Chinese I chose LTL School combined with a Homestay. First I had some doubts, going to a completely unknown City, and staying with Strangers seemed very challenging. But even my best expectations were topped. People in School are very, very friendly and helpful. The Teachers know what they are doing and encourage you. The Support you get (buying Chinese sim, introduction to Weixin, technical Issues....) is really great. All in all the perfect atmosphere to learn a Language.

It was so nice I will do it twice!

My wife and I spent a month studying Mandarin at LTL Beijing as a couple, and it was an unforgettable adventure! The classes were small and interactive, and the teachers were amazing—super supportive and great at making learning fun. We both started at slightly different levels, but the school tailored everything so we could learn at our own pace.

We chose a homestay, which turned out to be a highlight of the trip. Living with a local family gave us daily opportunities to practice speaking and a chance to really experience Chinese culture up close. It was also nice to come home and share our experiences with each other!

LTL also organized some awesome activities, like calligraphy and dumpling-making classes, so we got to dive into the culture beyond just language. Plus, exploring Beijing together was incredible—there’s so much history, food, and energy in the city.

After a month, we both felt way more confident speaking Mandarin and left with amazing memories. If you’re a couple thinking about learning Mandarin, LTL Beijing is a perfect choice!

Do you want to enjoy studying Korean surrounded by a very professional and friendly team? You have never studied Korean before and you wonder if you gonna be able to do it? ... then it is not a problem cause you can start from the bottom. And if you are more advanced in your Korean then the team will put you through the appropriate level class.

Also if you want to experience the cultural food, you can join the other students every day for lunch with Manuel and discover new restaurants and feel the 'local atmosphere'.

Also, there are events organized outside the class, in the evening, if you want to join such as going to a karaoke, looking at the Lantern festival, going for a drink, .. And you can also make suggestions.

But remember that you also gonna have home work, cause you are here to progress in Korean :-)

I personally take at the moment a 5 weeks program with 4 hours of collective class in the morning and 2 to 4 hours of one-to-one class. It is intense (but I am here for that :-)) but it is also so much fun.

The collective class is not crowded at all. We were 4 students like week in my class and this week we are only 2! So if you have any questions or doubts, please do not hesitate to contact Manuel who speaks English, and French as a native speaker, and also Spanish obviously!

I booked a two-week beginner language course in Beijing with 6 hours/day (total 60 hours). I spent 2/3 of the time in a group of three people and 1/3 in a 1-1 class with a private teacher. Even though I didn’t speak a word of Mandarin when I arrived I had a great time in the classes and in the school in general. The teachers are very friendly and patient but also committed. The administrative staff is also great. They were very helpful if I had any questions at all. And the organized activities were a great way to connect with the other students. Overall a very positive experience, which I highly recommend!

LTL School에서 중국어를 배웠는데 3주 동안 너무 행복했습니다! 중국어 기초도 없이 무작정 베이징에 간 거라 걱정이 많았는데, 선생님들도 너무 친절하고 직원분들도 적극적이셔서 금방 적응할 수 있었어요. 3명 정도의 소규모 클래스였던 덕분에 질문도 자유롭게 할 수 있었고, 화기애애한 분위기에서 수업이 가능했습니다! 방과후에 다양한 활동도 열어주셔서 중국 문화도 자연스럽게 많이 접할 수 있었어요. 타이치 무술도 배우고, 서예도 하고, 자금성도 다녀왔어요. 스쿨 친구들이랑 나중에 친해져서 따로 만리장성도 함께 다녀왔습니다 ㅎㅎ 홈스테이를 하다보니, 실생활에서 중국어를 사용할 일도 많았어요. 덕분에 짧은 3주였지만 중국어와 중국 문화를 정말 많이 배우고 왔습니다. 중국어 어학연수 생각하시는 분들은 LTL School 추천합니다! LTL School에서 언어 배우는 것 뿐만 아니라 좋은 사람들도 많이 만났어요. 친구들이 다음에 한국에 놀러온다고 약속도 했는데 기대되네요 ㅎㅎ 언어 배우기 뿐만 아니라 친구들도 사귀고 싶으신 분들이 방문하면 좋을 것 같아요~

I learned Chinese at LTL School and I was so happy for the three weeks! I was worried because I went to Beijing without any basic knowledge of Chinese, but the teachers were very kind and the staff were very active, so I was able to adapt quickly. Because it was a small class of about 3 people, I was able to ask questions freely and the class was held in a friendly atmosphere! Through various activities after school, I was able to naturally experience a lot of Chinese culture. I learned Tai Chi martial arts, did calligraphy and visited the Forbidden City. I later became close friends with my school friends and went to the Great Wall of China together. Since I stayed at a homestay, I often had to use Chinese in real life. Thanks to this, even though it was only a short three weeks, I learned a lot about the Chinese language and culture. I recommend LTL School to anyone thinking of language training! At LTL School, I not only learned the language but also met many great people. My friends promised that they would come to Korea next time and I'm looking forward to it. I think it would be great for people who want to not only learn the language but also make friends to visit.

Teacher Wang is very good! Her lessons are very fun and I learn a lot. The homework she assigns is very helpful for what we are studying and is good review for me. She makes the class interesting and brings in real-world examples sometimes to relate to our textbook subjects. It is very nice and she is very supportive. She answers all questions that I have and makes sure that I understand everything we have covered before moving into the next topic or subject. I highly recommend teacher Wang for this program!

我在北京校区待了五周，可以轻松地说，这是我人生中最好的经历之一。我受到热情的欢迎，有机会认识了很多来自世界各地的朋友，他们让这次经历变得非常特别。学校最大的优点是它多元和友好的环境，这让我不用担心在世界另一边的城市感到孤单。课程非常灵活，每天都能在城市里实践课堂上学到的内容，比如点餐或购物，这让我进步很大。每周的活动也是一个认识朋友和探索城市的好机会。我也很高兴能和老师成为朋友，我们甚至会一起唱卡拉OK或吃早餐！谢谢你，Tara！谢谢你，LTL北京！

I spent five weeks at the Beijing campus, and I can easily say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I was warmly welcomed and had the good fortune of meeting so many fantastic people from around the world who truly made the experience special. The strength of the school is definitely its multicultural, welcoming environment, which helped me avoid what I was most nervous about—feeling alone in a city halfway around the world. The lessons are highly customizable, and having the chance to test what I learned every day, whether by exploring the city or simply ordering food, was an incredible boost. The weekly organized activities provided a great opportunity to bond and explore the city. I was also pleasantly surprised by how friendly the relationship with the teacher was; we even found ourselves singing karaoke together or having breakfast! Thank you, Tara! Thank you, LTL Beijing!

在LTL北京的学习体验非常好！我交了很多新朋友，大家一起参加了很多活动，比如去KTV唱歌、爬长城、参观颐和园、景山公园、北海公园，甚至去了环球影城。每天我都吃到不同的美食，最喜欢的是北京烤鸭、馄饨汤，还有各种面条。

学校的气氛很好，学生和工作人员都很友好，交朋友很容易。我的一对一老师特别棒，不但帮助我提高听力和口语，而且让课堂很有意思。第一周我们还一起学了打麻将，后来麻将成了我最喜欢的游戏之一，我还买了一副带回家，哈哈！

总的来说，这次体验真的很特别，推荐给每一个想要试试的人！如果你喜欢中国文化，想多练习中文，LTL是非常好的选择。

My study experience at LTL Beijing was fantastic! I made a lot of new friends, and we joined many activities together, like singing at KTV, climbing the Great Wall, visiting the Summer Palace, Jingshan Park, Beihai Park, and even going to Universal Studios. Every day, I got to try different foods, and my favourites were Beijing Roast Duck, Wonton Soup, and various noodle dishes.

The school had a great atmosphere; both the students and staff were very friendly, so it was easy to make friends. My one-on-one teacher was amazing, not only did my teacher help me improve my listening and speaking skills, but they also made each class interesting. In the first week, we even learned to play mahjong together, and it quickly became one of my favorite games. I even bought a set to bring home, haha!

Overall, this experience was truly special, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to give it a try! If you love Chinese culture and want more practice with Chinese, LTL is an excellent choice.

我在LTL语言学校度过了难忘的一周，从第一天开始，工作人员的关心和支持就让我感受到了他们对学生的关注。我的老师非常准时，每堂课都按时开始，这让我们的学习既高效又愉快。无论是课堂上的细致指导，还是课后的支持，都让我感到非常满意。

每天上午的课程结束后，我们会一起外出吃午饭，不仅可以品尝地道的美食，还能在轻松的氛围中练习中文。此外，我特别喜欢太极等课外活动，这些文化活动不仅有趣，还让我更加深刻地体验了中国的传统。

I had an unforgettable week at LTL Language School. From the first day, the care and support of the staff made me feel that they cared about the students. My teacher is very punctual and every class starts on time, which makes our learning efficient and enjoyable. Whether it is the detailed guidance in class or the support after class, I am very satisfied.

After the classes in the morning every day, we will go out for lunch together. Not only can we taste the authentic food, but we can also practice Chinese in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, I particularly enjoy extracurricular activities such as Tai Chi. These cultural activities are not only interesting but also allow me to experience Chinese traditions more deeply.

The principal and team of the school are very concerned about every detail of my time here and have given me a lot of help in all aspects from study to life. This learning experience was very fulfilling for me. If you plan to study Chinese in Beijing, I highly recommend LTL. Living and traveling abroad for a short time is a great experience. It was a great experience for me, both as a person and as a professional, to learn about the situation in Asian countries.

Great Experience! I was with LTL at three different locations (Beijing 2 weeks, Chengde 11 weeks and Beihai 5 weeks) and Chengde was for sure the best experience I had! For Chinese standards it is a really small town and therefore there are really no other foreigners which makes the full inclusion really effective. In my 3 months there I did not even see 5 foreigners in Chengde. You have to get used to being an attraction for many people and getting a lot of looks by everyone on the streets or when you enter shops. However these are 99% positive and many people will ask you for photos or are trying to get in contact with you. As a foreigner it was really easy to make friends since everyone naturally wants to be in contact with you, so you don’t have to be afraid of being lonely even though you´re the only foreigner around. People here don’t speak any English though, so you can really use the chance and fully immerse in Chinese. Chengde offers a lot to see especially for those interested in Chinese history. I only got to spend two weeks of summer in Chengde (where the weather is really nice and you can go hiking and explore the town). From October on you should be prepared for cold and later on really cold weather (it is however mostly sunny and it almost never rains). The city has a little smog problem on a few days with no wind. The air will feel not really fresh (this is a problem you will encounter in a lot of Chinese cities though). My host family was amazing. They were really interested in me as a person but also Germany and Europe or anything considered “western”. They were always keen to talk even after their long days of work. We went hiking together, skiing in the winter and they took me to a lot of activities. The supervisor for the LTL-students (who was also my host-mom) is really friendly and she knows like everyone in town and so many activities you can try and experience. It makes connecting to locals even easier. Since she is responsible for your study schedule you should also not hesitate to talk to her if any problems come up. Just be honest with her and don’t be afraid of not telling her your concerns. I had difficulties with one teacher and after talking to her and some advice we switched teachers and my study method. So she really helps you to optimize your time here. Every day after school my host-grandma made a delicious traditional Chinese dish for me and my host-brother. When I came to Chengde I knew maybe 200 words of Chinese so basically HSK 1 within 3 months of (really intensive) studying and acquiring I am now at an HSK 4 level, which is enough to get around the country and talk to people. I really recommend Chengde to everyone who chooses to study at LTL! I had an amazing time here and I am so glad I took the step into the unknown and came here.
