Before starting to learn chinese with Silk Mandarin, I struggled a lot with the sequence. They helped me understand better with the Slow Motion Technique and learnt more than 600 characters, can't believe how I improved my current reading, speaking and understanding skills.
The activities they create and the flash cards they use, have helped me a lot in a fun way to understand a completely different and new language for me.
Silk Mandarin has been a fun, wide and strict school that has helped me improve my chinese in such a fast pace.

My experiences of learning Chinese with Silk Mandarin have been very positive.
I have been very fortunate to have a wonderful teacher who is always good humoured and patient and supports and guides me when I make mistakes. I always feel encouraged to continue.
I chose Silk Mandarin precisely because of its video materials and blended learning approach. I also found the flashcards extremely helpful to me in learning how to read Chinese characters.
What has surprised me recently is that I have been able to learn to recognise and remember some Chinese characters which has enabled me to learn to start reading Chinese. Previously I had never thought this would be possible for me.

I would recommend Silk Mandarin for anyone who is serious about wanting to lean or improve their Chinese.

Silk Mandarin is very helpful when learning chinese, the content is wide and the teaching tools are diverse. Teachers make several activities in order to learn having fun and with interesting topics, the exercises are also acumulative from past levels learnings so you can keep adding value to new knowledge. I have seen the return of my investment in very short time, of course it takes the student commitment as well but without the structure, teachers and learning tools from Silk Mandarin it wouldn't have been possible to achieve it so wide and fast.

I took the blended learning class online because I lived in another city and had a busy life schedule. Everything about this program was amazing. I felt heard. Amy took her time creating the perfect schedule for me so that attendance and study were attainable. I actually took both HSK 1 and HSK 2 with Silk Mandarin and both time felt supported. The class sizes are small enough that everyone can practice and the pace of the class is also good. My skill set has improved drastically. I honestly tell everyone I know about this program.

Earlier I learned HSK 1 from other language school but after joining Silk Mandarin my life is much easier in China. All my concepts are cleared now . I am more confident then before . Silk Mandarin has a unique method of teaching . As I am a online student I like the slow motion techniques more. I understand mandarin more in an easy way through slow motion technique. Apart from this technique I really like the teachers. The teachers are so professional and friendly also. They understand you and help to improving your skill of learning. I am very thankful to Silk Mandarin staff and teachers to give me a wonder full experience and motivated me more to learn HSK levels . Thank you so much .

I joined Silk Mandarin after a friend recommended them and I've throughly enjoyed my learning with them. I have a very supportive teacher who is flexible to my learning needs and is quick to adjust and adapt any learning materials to create what truly feels like a personalised learning experience. Silk is unlike a lot of other Chinese language schools where you tend to get the reading from a script approach, instead, I was able to clearly outline my goals as a language learner and my teacher Catherine was able to adjust all lesson plans to meet them. I could happily say that I left every lesson with SilkMandarin feeling like I had learned something new which I could comfortably apply in daily use. I look forward to my future as a student at SilkMandarin!

We have loved our last three years learning at Silk Mandarin. Everyone is very friendly and our teacher, Catherine, is amazing! We are working full time as well as learning, so we appreciate the ability to go at our own pace. We have learned a great deal and are able to apply it to our daily lives very quickly. We began learning as a family with our two teenagers and we all enjoyed it immensely. For the last 2.5 years, my husband and I have attended 2-3 times a week and are pleased that we have been able to do it at such a great place. Their teaching technique helps us review (although we definitely could study harder at home).

I am studying with Silk for one year now. I am happy and satisfied with the learning experience. The teachers have a professional background and adapt the learning techniques according to the strength of the student. The teachers have a modern teaching style with a lot of interaction to increase the learning results. I have a 1:1 class, but there are different classes available.
Silk is also organizing activities and events. This is always fun and a good way to get in contact with new people.
I will continue to study with Silk.

I´ve realized I should learn Mandarin after I decided to do business with Chinese people. I had no choice but to study online, so I started looking for a Chinese language school. Sooner I came across Silk Mandarin.
There I found a highly qualified team and unique teaching method. Its business development team was effective at organizing the class schedule due to my time zone difference. Teachers go an extra mile providing online tools to practice and additional materials to help me with characters and listening. In a brief time, I was already feeling comfortable with the new language.

For a person like me, who doesn't have much free time, this course is perfect. It's once a week but lasts for 90minutes. A lots of material is covered in just one class and then it's self study that reinforces the learning. The videos on the teaching platform are very helpful and well designed in terms of duration and interactive content. The classes are fun and engaging and filled with interesting activities. I have nothing but great things to say about Silk Mandarin Training Institute. Keep up the good work!
