I came here extremely nervous and not knowing what to expect. I moved into my room and called my parents saying I made a mistake. That same night we had our first group event which was a meet and greet and dinner. I came home late that night and called them saying this is going to be the best time of my life. You meet the best people and get such a unique experience unlike anything at home or college when do you a program like this. When people ask in the future, I will recommend the intern group and Dublin without hesitation.

My experience with The Intern Group in Madrid fully met my expectations, and I am leaving the city incredibly happy and grateful for everything I experienced.

From a professional perspective, as an architecture student, one of my main concerns was finding an internship that truly matched my field of study. The Intern Group successfully placed me in a company that was well aligned with my academic background and professional interests. The company was relatively small, which, in my opinion, turned out to be a great advantage. On a daily basis, I received very personalized feedback on my work, and the work environment felt close and supportive. I never felt like “just another intern,” but rather like a valued member of the team.

Regarding the language aspect, it was not a problem for me since Spanish is my first language and my internship was conducted in Spanish. However, the social side of the program was mainly in English, as interns come from all over the world. This actually became a great opportunity for me to practice and improve my English in a very natural way, which I truly appreciated.

As for the accommodation, it was very good overall. The location was pretty good, well connected to public transportation and conveniently situated. One important thing to consider is that you may share the apartment not only with other interns from The Intern Group, but also with external tenants. If you are not used to living with people you don’t know, this is something to keep in mind. That being said, in my personal experience, living with other people was very positive. Living with other interns from the program also created a sense of community and support, it felt reassuring to have people going through the same experience under the same roof.

Socially, I would say this is one of the strongest aspects of the program. There were always activities organized throughout the week, which made it very easy to meet other interns. I am leaving Madrid with great friendships and connections with people from all over the world, which is something I truly value.

In conclusion, this is a very complete experience in all aspects, professional, personal, and social. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering doing an international internship. It has been an enriching experience that I will always look back on with appreciation.

TIG provided me with a memorable experience in Madrid, Spain, from which I learned professional, social, and intercultural skills. The activities organized allow interns to meet their peers and make friends for life. We are currently planning our next trip together! If you like exploring, plan trips for every weekend because you won’t have the time during the week between work and outtings with friends. My onboarding experience with TIG was also great because they were patient with me wanting to find the best fit for my field of study.

I learned so much and had a lot of fun. Alex and Peach were great and super helpful! The activities were super fun and great way to meet other interns and do things throughout the city that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to do. I learned a lot from my internship and received a lot of support from people within the intern group. Alex and Peach were always super helpful figuring out any issues I had. This is a great way to develop professional skill and add something to your resume while also exploring a new city!

Absolutely enjoyed my internship in Medellin! There’s something about the people, the energy, and the openness here that makes it such a special place to learn and grow.

Over these few months I learned a lot, worked on real projects, and was trusted with responsibilities that pushed me to improve every day. More than anything, I had a team that gave me the space to try, ask questions, and grow.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, both professionally and personally. Would definitely recommend it!

I greatly enjoyed my internship experience, as it provided both professional growth and personal enrichment. Working closely with my supervisor was especially rewarding; we collaborated on developing ideas, and I felt that my contributions were genuinely valued and thoughtfully considered. Throughout the internship, I strengthened my skills by gaining hands-on experience with various professional platforms and adapting to new tools and responsibilities. Living with fellow interns and attending the events organized also allowed me to form meaningful international friendships, further enhancing an already fulfilling experience.

My experience with The Intern Group in Madrid was very positive. Communication was fast and professional, and the team was always available when I had questions. I appreciated the regular check-ins and the feeling that they genuinely cared about my progress and well-being. The internship helped me grow both professionally and personally, and living in Madrid was an amazing cultural experience. My experience with the Madrid Program is definitely one for the books and one that I will reflect on for the rest of my life. The opportunity to go abroad and have both help and support to not only find an internship with a great company, but the support and help of the staff at The Intern Group when it came down to events, community, security, and most importantly adaptability. This program helped me adapt in a new area as well as prepare me for work in companies abroad with different cultural backgrounds. Coming from the other side of the world (California) The Intern Group did an amazing job always sticking by my side and helping me navigate through this different country as well as comfortably connect with my company (Neolux Energy).

My Internship experience was structured and very well managed. The support staff in Tokyo were amazing in helping me settle in and generally ensuring the whole team had a high quality experience. Personally I’d say my highlights were the excursions organized on the weekends to get a good balance of travelling and actually getting to experience Japan while working, they helped a lot in strengthening the bond with other interns making many of us hopefully be life long friends. Overall fantastic experience.

Had the most lovely time and will definitely go back! Met friends for life and would definetly recommend to everyone! The staff were lovely too.

Was the perfect break away from university and I would do it again. Being in a city with a group of strangers is surprisingly the best thing I could have done and now I have more confidence to go out and meet people around the world. The only sad part was having to leave everyone that I had met in Madrid bevause everyone lives all around the world :(. The best trip ever!
