Great Experience!!

Everyday work was very fulfilling. I managed company data base, produced financial forecast for our clients and analyzed various business models. I also met a lot of amazing ppl through the program.

What would you improve about this program?
Live in a homestay closer to my workplace.

I had an amazing time working at BTG Pactual. I learned so much during that period that I will have huge advantage of in the future. I met so many interesting and nice people, and got treated very good by the amazing staff at the company.

What would you improve about this program?
Maybe more locations and countries to apply for and be able to work in.

An awesome experience !!

I spent a month and a half in London, working at the 2012 London Olympic Games. An incredible opportunity I would have never got without IL. Got to meet students from all over world, in a great atmosphere. The IL staff are all amazing people, really caring about making us spend a wonderful time. And I was among the first interns, so it can only get better !

What would you improve about this program?
Choosing the host family can be a bit risky, they are not all as nice and relax... and not always close to the center of London, which raise a lot the price of transports...
If the internship is paid, the way of being paid (by cash, cheques, or directly on a foreign bank account) should be well defined before the begining of the experience, to make sure there are not too much fees and problems of transfer.

Internship in the government

The team in Colombia were amazing! There were loads of events every week and we had a great community - I definitely made friends for life! More importantly, I had experience at working directly in the government which is what my resume really lacked and so the experience was great! My biggest highlight was the amazing support offered, they were there catering for everything. The biggest challenge was improving my spanish and performing well in my internship every day! I would definitely recommend the program to others!

What would you improve about this program?
I wasn't the biggest fan of the food in Colombia!
