My grandparents are Chinese, and in order to communicate better with them, I need to maintain my Chinese language skills. However, working in Switzerland makes it difficult for me to find opportunities to practice Mandarin regularly, so I chose a weekly online course. So far, I’m very satisfied with the lessons. We don’t just chat about daily topics, but also discuss many interesting subjects, such as housing prices and education. I really look forward to meeting my teacher every Wednesday.

I took a class with them for 6 month when I first moved to Beijing and they're amazing. They offered a free consultation session to assess my Chinese and I proceeded to have lessons in a small group. One of the things I really enjoy, they have their own learning platform which means I can practice on my own time, outside of class time as well. This really enhanced my learning, especially with Chinese characters. Also, teacher Hans is brilliant, really patient and goes out of his way to make learning fun. I'd highly recommend.

I've been learning Chinese here for the past few months, it has been really fun and I believe everyone should try it. the teachers are the best teachers I have ever come across and they have a nice lobby and books to read. they even have flash cards.

when you come here, you will be welcomed by nice people who will offer you free water, tea, and coffee. regardless of your level in Chinese, they will always be there to help you and they can help you improve your language learning skills.

I can't recommend this course enough! I started with zero Chinese knowledge, but after taking the 1-on-1 private lessons at That's Mandarin, I can now speak, read, and write with confidence. The teachers are super friendly and professional, and the lessons were fun and practical, which made learning way easier. I even passed the HSK 4 exam with no problem! The learning environment is supportive and motivating, and I’ve gained so much more than just language skills. Huge thanks to everyone at That's Mandarin for making my learning experience so great. I started taking Chinese classes with That's Mandarin Beijing school a bit less than a year ago, and although those classes were online, it was still one of the best language courses I took to date. I am from Luxembourg and Chinese was my fifth language, so naturally, I went into the experience with some language baggage and prior knowledge to how these courses are normally structured.

Nonetheless, I was more than surprised by the structure, teachers, professionalism and general know-how at this company. Taking into account the huge time difference between their offices in China and my hometown in Luxembourg (among may others as I travel quite often), the flexibility and quick responses allowed for an immensely positive learning experience that helped me upskill and develop a language I never thought of speaking before.

Aside from the logistical side, I had the pleasure of taking courses from two separate teachers and at no point was I ever disappointed by their methods or the general teaching style. Both were extremely charismatic and helped me during our one-on-one lessons while keeping it light and really pushing me to do my best. I hope I can continue to take these amazing lesson at the That's Mandarin Beijing school and hopefully more people will make their way there to experience what I have before them! 10/10

As someone who has always been passionate about Chinese culture, I decided to learn Mandarin. Initially, I was intimidated by the language, as I had heard it could be quite difficult. However, thanks to the incredible support from my teachers, I was able to overcome these obstacles and now feel confident in my ability to have simple conversations with native Chinese speakers.

One of my favorite aspects of That's Mandarin is the cultural activities they organize, such as the dumpling-making event. It was not only fun but also a fantastic way to immerse myself in Chinese traditions while practicing my language skills.
