I want to thank the entire staff and teachers that I encountered during my online classes here! It was a truly pleasant experience to communicate with manager Julie and teacher Meng/孟老师. Apart from the coordination process, which includes finding a teacher, arranging classes and so on, the education itself is on a whole another level. I especially appreciate the attention the teacher gives to the student, whether it be always looking for the right materials, giving feedback or useful advice, helping the student achieve the desired goal, etc. If it’d be possible to rate studying Chinese here 10/10, I’d do it!

My Chinese classes are fun, engaging and inspiring. I have learnt a lot from my Chinese teacher and the team at That's Mandarin. Everyone is very kind and supportive and the school hosts many interesting Chinese cultural events. Zhang Laoshi is a brilliant Chinese teacher! So much so, it would be challenging for anyone else to be my Chinese teacher now! Her Chinese lessons are very creative and interesting, which means that I have been able to pass my HSK Level 2 and HSK Level 3 exams since I started my Chinese classes with That's Mandarin.

That's Mandarin is a great investment. I am taking the classes online from America. I am an ESL instructor and many of my students are Chinese. I wanted to learn Mandarin for them. Meng Laoshi, my teacher is the best teacher ever! I can do full sentences, read and speak and it's only been a few months. She works hard to teach me and is very patient. I also love the platform for classes(nihao cafe). I can go back and review, and take notes, and see everything we have learned. I can practice often. The lessons don't disappear and are always there. Another amazing thing is that you get a course coordinator who messages you weekly to plan your classes and address concerns. I'm always in communication with her. My course coordinator Julie is so helpful. I'm happy that I decided to go with this school!

As a foreigner in China, especially one who is living in a local area it made everything possible for me in China. And not just for me. My husband also said learning Chinese at That's Mandarin is a really great choice and very much worth it. That means It was great thing for both of us. Before I started to learn Chinese, I did not have confidence shopping by myself at farmer's markets and could not shop Chinese online sites. Now I really understand the merchants. Also, my husband is happy when we go out together because of my Chinese ability.

My Mandarin lessons with That’s Mandarin have been absolutely fantastic. My teacher, Cindy Laoshi, is so helpful, clear and knowledgable. The admin team are so responsive and Catherine sorts any issues or rescheduling I need in record time. I am learning so much and getting to use my learning outside of lessons. I began my course here with no Mandarin knowledge or skills and am already able to order and speak conversationally when out and about in Beijing. I would highly recommend lessons here!

In Shanghai, I'm studying Chinese and I really like this language, but I need to practice a lot. The lessons are perfect, also the teachers are perfect too. I have a lot of exercises and homework. By NihaoCafe my Chinese will go high. The Atmosphere here at the school is very well. I've made a lot of friends and opened a new world for me. In my country, I've learned a lot about China, the history of China, geography, about the relationships between my people and Chinese people. I like Shanghai, the food in Shanghai, and the Shanghai people are very kind and helpful.

I first began studying at That's Mandarin in 2018, and joined one of their intensive beginner courses in Shanghai which allowed me to jumpstart my Mandarin learning journey!

Anyone looking to begin studying Mandarin should definitely come here as I was a complete beginner when I walked into my first class, and by the end of my sixth week I was confident enough in my new found language skills to travel around China by myself for two weeks.

6 years on, I am still studying at Thats Mandarin and I am still loving every class!

My journey as an exchange student from Frankfurt to Shanghai has been profoundly shaped by my time at That’s Mandarin, especially as I progressed from HSK 1 to HSK 3. When I first arrived, I was excited yet apprehensive about my language skills. Fortunately, That’s Mandarin provided a structured and supportive environment right from the start. Before the course began, they helped me create a specific timetable tailored to my needs. This personalized approach was instrumental in easing my transition into learning Mandarin.

I have enjoyed my time here so far in That's Mandarin. I feel have progressed a lot in the short time that I have been here. I definitely recommend their program for all levels. I am a complete beginner and I have increased my level of learning by a large margin. I completely and wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone who would like to learn mandarin. That's Mandarin is an amazing school and I have enojyed my time here so far. I will complete the program in December and cant wait to see how far I will progress.
