I enjoyed the online TEFL Course by ITTT. The units were challenging and well explained. I paid for the optional tutor, which was a great help when I didn't understand something. I loved the recommended resources and creative ideas. I am currently taking another course from ITTT. It is to teaching English to young learners. After that, I will be taking the teaching business English course. So far, the teaching English to young learners has been great too.

I took the ITTT TEFL Online course before my trip to Asia and I must say it was an invaluable tool to be able to find a job and make a living.
Without this certificate, I probably wouldn't have been able to find a job so quickly. It was a great tool and due to the organization's great prestige and reputation, I was highly respected.

This certificate enabled me to stay in Asia for 2 years, then I was able to work in Italy for some time before heading to Central America. It has served me in 3 continents, and counting.

I highly recommend it to anyone interested in traveling and getting paid while you travel. I've been able to have amazing experiences, and meet great people, all because I've had this on my CV.

It has paid itself many times over, it was one of the best investments I ever made on myself.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to using my knowledge and certificate for years to come!

I chose this program because I wanted to do it online, quickly, and for not a lot of money. For the price, it was good value, though there could have been more support from staff as well as guidance to getting a job after the program. Some more hands-on teaching experience could've been nice but that is something to consider if doing the program online versus in a classroom. However, since it was less costly than other programs, this is what I expected and I still got my TEFL certificate which is what matters.

I think that the program that ITTT offers is really wonderful. It’s not overpriced and covers a range of topics that are helpful.
They have a good mix of topics including: grammar, pronunciation, classroom tools, games, activities and parts of speech.

I think that the program is a great one for beginners and those who are starting a teaching career. It’s like a primer in a way. I think that they could have gone more in depth for certain topics, and some grammar parts are a little thin.

Overall though having a TESOL certifaction course for this price is amazing. ITTT has a wonderful presence and always post guides on jobs and possible job opportunities.

I was able to secure a Departure of State internship creating English lessons for the Islamabad embassy because of this program.

This started with a simple desire to teach overseas. But it turned into a challenge, one I didn't think I would have a problem facing down: English grammar. I'd never had a problem using it, but could never explain the "why" of how it worked. With ITTT, not only did I have a rigorous course-load of creating lesson plans and practicing the grammar, but I also had an instructor who would not settle for anything less than my best. My course was online, so communication was in email form, but I always had my questions answered and work responded to quickly. I came out of the course prepared to use and teach grammar as I had never before been prepared. I highly recommend this course and company. Not only do they offer valuable support and learning, but they also continue to communicate with graduates post-completion, offering opportunities to work or study abroad that I otherwise would not have accessed.

I took both the 120 hour TEFL & 250 hour TESOL Diploma courses. PROS: The cost is extremely affordable, course layout is convenient and do-able, staff respond to problems/questions quickly CONS: Many jobs prefer in-person courses, not much of anything for job assistance, the 250hr program had several typos/grammar errors and wasn't very professional.
Overall, taking the course can be helpful (esp if you haven&t previously taught) BUT I recommend doing an in-person course for networking, credibility, &the overall experience.

The purpose of this evaluation is to share my experience as a learner in ITTT Online TEFL Course. Hopefully, all information collected will be useful to evaluate and improve the programs on an ongoing basis.

Personally, I strongly agreed that the course increased my basic knowledge and comprehension of my skills as a TEFL teacher. So, I graded this aspect of the course fulfillment of my expectations a score of 5/5. This course improved my ability to analyze and apply information regarding the subject. I graded this aspect of the course fulfillment a score of 4/5. There were huge efforts to explain and engage me during the learning process. However, I had expected much to be taught on the practical and real-life situations of in-class assessment, monitoring and evaluate to adequately check and balance learning progress. I gained valuable skills that improved my potentials as an English tutor. Sincerely, I benefited a lot is this aspect of the course fulfillment. So, I grade it 100 percent in meeting my target goals of enrolling for the course. As regards my expectations, the course content met them up to 100 percent.

I agreed that the course content was relevant to my life outside the classroom. However, I wish its relevance and level of acceptance could cover all developing and underdeveloped countries as well. The course is rapidly booming in developed and western countries with little or no relevance and awareness in the east and similar parts of the globe. In that aspect, I graded the course 3/5 in fulfillment of this objective. The instructional materials were very appropriate for the course content. Wow! The use of the instructional materials was very excellent. It's 100 percent fulfilled. The assignments helped very well in improving my understanding. Therefore, I rated this aspect of the course fulfillment a score of 5/5. I strongly agreed that the assignments and examinations adequately tested my understanding of the course content. The course was designed with clear and reasonable assessment and evaluation procedures. Course discussions were of high quality. Though, I had expected much of peer review and peer discussion forums. The instructors promoted peer learning. However, I suggest that weekly discussion questions should be made available to enable learners discuss and share their views concerning the course contents. It will also increase students’ participation in the course. This aspect of peer interaction and discussion forum is rated 65 percent to my own evaluation point of view.

The instructors gave me valuable feedback which stimulated my intellectual enthusiasm for course content. They were also knowledgeable in their field which made the frequency of student and instructor interactions very adequate. Sincerely, I achieved the goals I had when I started this course. Therefore I strongly recommend this course to friends. All things considered, I am satisfied with my studies with ITTT Online TEFL Course. On average, my spending 19 to 25 hours per week to the course reading, assignments, participation, exam studying, and exam taking was not in vain.

I find this a tad unfair given, most people taking this course are employed and are snatching time to study and pass the exam. However, little is known that when one fails, one needs to pay additional $150 to sit for a second attempt. Most prestigious known certification examination institutes offer the 2nd attempt for free. something to consider!

Traveling to a new country I've never been to before was a bit scary. I didn't know what to expect or what type of people I would meet. However, the TEFL program and the people I met because of it was the best thing that could have happened. From day 1 the instructors in Barcelona were welcoming and supportive. They made me feel more relaxed and confident in my decision to enroll in the program. I was excited to start learning a new skill and making friends. Through out the course the instructors gave me the tools and knowledge that helped me to become a good English teacher. They provided great feedback from the observed practice classes that I taught. At times the class did feel a bit overwhelming like having to prepare for the final test but overall it helped me become more prepared in my future teaching job. Our class was a bit big, more than 30 students, so we were separated into two groups. However, this did not stop us from all hanging out together and becoming friends. The instructors have years of experience and know the city of Barcelona very well so we all felt very confident to ask them about anything. Some of my favorite memories are the laughs we shared in the classroom and our first night out together at the end of our first week. Barcelona has a great and vibrant night life so it makes it a great choice to do the TEFL program in and to live in if you decide to stay. I got to meet so many different people, as I am sure everyone does, with so many different backgrounds and stories. Some of us even became life long friends. The course material is not hard, but you have to be willing to commit and put in the effort. Some useful tips I would give to future students would be: if you decide to teach in Barcelona than don't wait until the end of the course to start looking for an apartment/room, perhaps start looking for a job before you graduate the class, put in the effort to prepare for the live practice classes you will be teaching, and make sure to have some money saved up before coming to Barcelona. Once you have the TEFL certificate you will be able to go almost anywhere in the world you can dream of to work and live.

Overall great, easy and worth every dollar. Lessons are really well written and require minimum effort from the reader. Throughout the lessons you will find several examples that will assist putting it all together and give you a better perspective on the topic at hand. Tests are really well grounded and manage to not feel intimidating but at the same time they remain challenging enough as of to provide a sense of accomplishment. This has been a fantastic experience and I am definitely looking forward to taking another course.
