The pace of the course was perfect and was a great value. My sister previously did the course in early 2000 and has taught overseas since in South Korea and Saudi Arabia and now has a master's in teaching. It had owned a lot of doors for her.
Myself I got a degree in finance and have been trying to find work in my field sense being laid off over 4 years ago and now that my kids are grown I've decided to try something new and travel and make done money while I'm doing it.

The course I did, even if an online one, left me with a confidence I didn't have before. The material itself was very helpful and well organized, and it required of me just the right amount of dedication it needs. It was very enlightening to see how different approaches towards language education are being taken, and taught to the new generation of teachers. I'm happy I took the step to start my formal education to be a better teacher, and I'm glad I did it with ITTT.
I didn't have any issues along the process, but I'm sure the staff would have been very helpful if I'd encountered any problems.

The ITTT online course was the beginning of my teaching career, and five years later I can say it changed my life. Since completing the course, I have taught in four different countries in Europe and in Asia. This course gave me the confidence that I needed in learning the fundamentals about teaching before I was able to actually go in the classroom and start doing it on my own. The assignments for the course were very challenging, but also very practical so that almost all things that I learned in the course have been directly applied throughout the past few years of my teaching. I would definitely recommend taking this course!

This program was perfect for my needs. I had found out a little late in my application process that the job I had applied for in Seoul, South Korea wanted me to have a TEFL certificate. Luckily, I could do this one online, at my own pace. I found the lessons helpful and informative. I used a lot of the information I learned in the classroom. I was able to get my final test done early enough for it to help me with the final paperwork needed for the job.

I ended up not needing the certificate for the job I got because they finally accepted my law degree, but because of the certificate, I received a higher bracket of pay, much more than the cost of the ITTT program. I definitely recommend it if you want to teach English as Second Language in a foreign country.

I learned much from the course of study and I consider this to be true value for the price. My only frustration was the final exam/lesson plan phase. Expectations were not always crystal clear and there was often misinterpretation of what was submitted. Otherwise, it was a great experience. This was not an EASY certificate to earn. It was challenging and informative throughout, but not difficult. The videos were also helpful to me when taking notes and trying to learn/remember material. I would definitely recommend this course to others!

Steven Jacobson provides insight, guidance, and careful mentoring of those in the program. His professionalism, knowledge, and personal contributions to the field of education are not to be missed. Steven provided immediate and useful feedback during teaching sessions. He is sensitive to both future teacher and learner of a foreign language needs. Future teachers are directed to provide classes for client learners of a foreign language that involve vocabulary, practice, and presentation of interesting, provocative topics to ensure learner interest. Errors are tolerated in future teachers and we are encouraged by Steven to use them to grow in our teaching skills.

I am a happy customer of ITTT. At first, I was skeptical if I would get enough information in order to to become and English language Teacher, but when I started the course, I was surprised how much information the material contained for a fraction of the price! Actually, it was a bit challenging to me to learn the material and pass all the tests, and of course, I had to put time and effort into the studying the course to finish it successfully. As a result, I have received an excellent grade thanks to the great support and feedback from the staff as well as helpful video lessons included with this 120-hour course! I am very pleased with the course and will recommend it to my friends!

This course made getting my TEFL as fun and convenient as possible. The instructor provided timely, in-depth feedback via email, and the course assignments were quality and applicable to real-life situations. Not too easy or too difficult. After finishing, I jumped right into an ESL teaching job with confidence and a good grasp of basic skills (not having any knowledge in this area before taking the course). Overall, professional and manageable. I would definitely recommend this program.

I am from the USA but currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I had been working for a friend (who has an English institute), giving English conversation classes. Once I started working towards my TEFL certification, I was able to be hired by another institute and given a job at a software company, teaching English to the employees. Since my Spanish isn't very strong, I found the structure of lesson planning to be very useful in my classes. I learned a lot about how to build lessons and establish rapport with my students through the TEFL course, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to make some extra money while traveling abroad. The online version was the right fit for me, and you can't beat the price. Overall, I have had a positive experience with the ITTT TEFL online course.

I took the ITTT TEFL course in 2013 when I was teaching English in South Korea. For me, it was a superb complement to my teaching. Most take the course prior but since I took it during the time I was teaching, I felt as if I could hone my skills even more with recommendations, exercises and readings from the course. In addition, what was brilliant was that I was given a complimentary 50-hour CTEYL course along with the TEFL. I was teaching children and teenagers at the time and, because I had never taught prior to this, it really helped me as far as keeping young learners engaged and presenting the language in an engaging way so that they could enjoy the learning process.

Fast forward to 2014 and, because of my experience in Korea but additionally, because of my TEFL course, aspects such as lesson planning and grammar review served me in good stead as I got a job teaching adult speakers of other languages in Miami. I had previous experience learning grammar and vocabulary, etc in my native Trinidad where I attended primary and high school, but having the grammar review from the ITTT TEFL course helped me to be able to explain it to students. In fact, during my interview for this job, I was asked to explain some grammar concepts.
