The course overall was pretty good. Having earned my Diploma and Bachelors Degree in Education, I pretty much knew most of the information beforehand. however, the video lessons that showed classroom techniques in the ESL classroom were very significant to show best practices in a classroom with students who may not readily understand what is being said. I also appreciated the classroom management section of the course. I have used many of the strategies that were taught and I have found them to be quite effective in helping to keep students focused and active in the ESL classroom.
The only thing I really didn't like about the course was the excessive reading as I believe a lot of the information could have been more condensed, thus easier to go through as I was doing the course while working full time.

After completing my 120-hour online course with ITTT, I was genuinely ready to teach English to non-English speakers, and have been doing so successfully for a year now. I also have given ESL tutorial classes in-person to students here in New York. It's a "perfect fit" for me. ITTT credentials were my "passport." And the lesson plans I developed in the ITTT TEFL course, together with the "prefab" lessons they provide, have been essential teaching tools for me.
I can genuinely say that ITTT opened the door to a new life for me -- one that is full of adventure, new friends, and new opportunities to learn. I get consistent 5-star ratings from my students, and have developed wonderful friendships. I have also received numerous job offers to teach in China, and look forward to taking this opportunity soon -- once I have learned to speak enough Chinese to get along, and avoid starvation! It's very exciting, and the opportunities are truly endless.

This program provided basic education in what is expected from an English teacher abroad, but I would not consider this a true 120 hour course. I completed this course as a requirement to obtain a working visa in China, however I had previous teaching experience (just not a degree). If you already have experience and need a cost-effective addition to your resume, this is perfect. The information is useful, and being able to download and review course materials after completion is helpful, but the course is very easy to skim and still pass with flying colours. I was able to complete the 120 hour course in just over a week's worth of 2 hour long sessions. This makes for a great refresher for someone who's been away from teaching for a while, but if you're passionate about ESL teaching and want to learn a lot, opt for a true 120-hr in person course rather than the online version.

I am currently in the middle of taking this course so I cannot attest to job guidance yet, however the course itself provides great information for managing classrooms and ideas for lessons. Some of the material seems a little dated, however this does not inhibit your takeaway from the course. It is written in British English. As an American English speaker, the difference threw me off a little at first. Overall this is great course for the price!

This course was what I needed to qualify for a work permit at the Kindergarten I am now working at in China. I had all the other qualifications and have been working as an English teacher for around 16 years, what had been missing was a certification that allowed me to prove this qualification, so thanks to ITTT I was able to do that.
Now I am working abroad as an English teacher, adding up to the experience that I already have, learning new things and having a great time.
Who knows where I'll go next. ;)

Overall I found this course to be well organised, and a fairly comprehensive guide to TEFL teaching. It's designed and written clearly and is easy to follow, and useful not only for those with no experience in teaching English as a foreign language, but also for those who already have some experience in the field. My only regret is that I took the 60-hour-course rather than the 120-hour-course. Later I found out that many countries require at least 120 hours TEFL for legal full-time employment. However, I've found out that it is possible to extend the 60-hour course to 120 hours by doing a "top up course" for a reasonable price, and shall certainly do so when time allows. Overall I found studying online an enjoyable and comparatively stress-free experience and would definitely recommend this course to anyone.

I would like to share my experience with all of you. I'm a graduator from the Pedagogical University. I've had an experience in teaching English at the primary state school and at the English courses for children. From time to time elder people ask me to help them with studing English. According to my education I'm a teacher of the Primary school or a teacer of English at primary.
According to my job I' ve always had a lot of questions as to the methodology. Because all the groups are different, different levels of English, even the amount of the pupils can vary.
I like the words: more you know -more you understand that you don't know nothing. So it was the main point for me why I've choosen the Ittt 60 hours course. To tell you the truth I found all nesessary and perticular unswers to my questions.The information of the course has a good structure and all the points has a good explenations. The examples of the tasks goes with the Units. From all the Units I did short plans, so it's easy for me now to look up for information. May be this course wasn't complecated for me because of my previous education. Good points of this course are: In short way you have an opportunity to recolect all grammar and it's usage; the unit about Phonetics is perfect;
the combinations of materials.
Some words I would like to add about the tests foolowed after every unit. They help to confirm your knowledge before passing the controled test.
I practised all the advice given in the course and the lessons became more interesting, the children atended the lessons with great desire.

As a native English speaker and fully bilingual English-Italian speaker, I needed a certification to enable my teaching in local Italian schools and allow me to participate in public call for bids.
Someone suggested ITTT TEFL online course and all I can say that it was worth it! Ever since I have obtained this certification, my work experience has grown substantially. ITTT TELF have always sent me updates on where I could go and teach around the world, but for the time being I am based in Italy and am not interested in those proposals, yet it is refreshing to know that I will always have that option to choose from if I ever need to go abroad.
I recommend ITTT TEFL online course if you work during the day and cannot attend a regular in-person class. They are very serious at marking your work and the tutors are always available to help.

I just completed my 120 hours TEFL certificate, and I am really happy. I have learned a lot from this course, very interesting and informative. I now have a better understanding of how to teach English to non-native speakers. I completed this course in less than a month, with an overall average of 95.83%. The unit tests were very manageable. The lesson plan was a bit challenging, but I was able to succeed in my first attempt. Thanks to ITTT for the wealth of knowledge I have gained from this course. I now look forward to using what I have learned in teaching English to non-native speakers. I hope to gain employment soon to teach English in China.
