I have recently completed the 120 hour TEFL course offered by ITTT, and I am half way through their 50 hour course for specialising in teaching online.
I found it very clear and easy to navigate through the course content, and had no issues accessing the units or videos.
I did struggle with some of the grammar units and do wish a little more explanation was included for some of the more difficult concepts.
Otherwise I am very satisfied with what I’ve learnt so far from these courses, and am very impressed with the amount of additional information via external links that has been provided, especially with relation to finding jobs.
A little advice for others considering these courses, would be to pace yourself and try to work on the course regularly. I started mine during lockdown when I had plenty of free time, then became busy with work and travel, and found myself rushing at the end to complete everything before the six months was up.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the course and ITTT.

Taking this course has enabled me to work abroad in a language school for over 8 years and is now enabling me to be my own boss and work online via a language teaching/learning website. It provided me with the information and tools that I needed in order to feel confident enough to pursue a career in a field that I am passionate about. I was a complete novice and had little to no knowledge of the theory or practical side of teaching English as a foreign language but the course was extremely informative and gave me all I needed to know to begin my career and take my first steps towards being an experienced teacher.

Great course! The way the course is organized, I feel like I fully learned and interalized all the information presented. The course takes you from the first day of class to the last covering everything in between to include: student level and diagnostic testing, how to create a syllabus, and lesson plans, a review of grammar and tenses necessary for teaching ESL students, teaching methodolgies, teacher roles, what to expect from your students, how to evaluate your students and your class for improvements, as well as proffesional development. This course includes sample placement and diagnostic tests and many sample activities.

I would like to let you know that what motivated me to do the Diploma course was originally to up´date my qualifications and to receive an international recognition for my teaching experience and qualification, which is national. This goal has been achieved.I would like to outstand the role of my tutor, who was always ready and willing to give me advice.
Although I graduated in 1982, I have always been involved in teaching English as a Foreign Language to all-age-groups or classes and this course has shown me that, all the courses i have done since 1982, and congresses or lectures I have attended or taken part in, have kept me up-to-date in different educational areas.
I would recommend adding or designing a course suitable for TEFL online or blend´learning. I have been doing many courses since I finished my Diploma, and all of them were related to TICs. Forunately our own platform was ready for March, when all the COVID 19 local lockout started, but I have found that I am not an expert at that, and this online or blended learning method will be the future in education. This program was a completely great experience. It gave me useful knowledge which I’ve been implementing while teaching in my classes. Information, suggestions and recommendations given to us are totally advantageous. I’m so happy to apply for the program. When I had finished it, I found a job in a college and now I’m looking forward to researching a new job in any other countries when I get more experiences. I want to improve myself by taking a look at my notes that I took while studying this certificate program’s lessons. Thanks a lot!

I started with just the online certifications then almost a year later upgraded to include classroom experience. While a generous 6 months is allotted for each course to be completed, if you have the motivation the courses can be completed much sooner. The lessons were informative and academically relevant. For someone who was not an educator coming into the courses the overall program was very helpful in explaining how to teach English as a foreign language. Once I completed the "in class" practicum, I had a new-found confidence in my education abilities. The support staff was very helpful and would answer questions promptly and comprehensively. They provided very helpful feedback and advice. I now work in a wonderful job as a English conversation teacher.

The program was great. I would have preferred to be in class to practice the lessons. I have not used my ESL skills yet, my only options have been for online teaching. I want to teach in a classroom setting. Perhaps I'll have the chance later. My first effort will be in the US to hone my skills before I try to get a job overseas. I hope other folks have benefitted from the program and were able to get jobs in the countries they preferred to live in. Due to the Pandemic I asume most folks are staying put

The 220-hour Master Package was well designed for new teachers, providing three certification programs in one package. I took first the foundational course, then teaching English for young learners, and finally teaching English for business people. The Canvas platform was very easy to use, the content is great providing what a teacher needs to know. The combination of reading, writing, listening materials made very interesting each course. I would suggest more videos in TEYL and business English.
The so-called experienced tutors were very formal and not helpful with the student's needs. They always told me to read the instructions. If I ever take a course with ITTT I will sign up without a tutor.
I enjoyed working on the materials. I recommend 100% to anyone looking for TEFL Certification!

I've enjoyed TEFL more because I was provided with all the theory that was necessary to complete the course. With TESOL, I had to search for all the information by myself. I do understand that self-studying is required in any case but I could've done the same thing without paying $400. Still, I have to admit that the information I was encouraged to research was very interesting and I enjoyed it, and the format of tests was very nice and even engaging. I also appreciate the short summative tasks in TEFL that helped me to remember how to write essays, so I was prepared for a bigger essay at the end of the TESOL course

This was a very comprehensive course and intro to TOEFL and some special populations. Without COVID I would have liked to take advantage of some in-person learning, but this was a good way to get my bearings and learn about pedagogy from home. While the material was extensive, it was a lot of reading and pre-recorded videos that have started to show a little bit of age. More interactive content would have been better for staying engaged and not needing to re-visit material as much for the quiz portions.
