I.completed this course several years ago, but plans change, and I did not teach then as planned. Now finally I am using the materials as I start my new teaching career in Thailand. I am reviewing the course modules in preparation so they will be fresh again in my mind, and I can follow up on the many preparation recommendations they provide.

In this course I found that the complexity of the English language is presented in a very well segmented form. The modules alternate between technical aspects and practical presentation aspects, so I was never bogged down with grammatical overdose. I found the follow-up support to be very valuable too, as I become a teacher. This course had everything I had hoped for at onset, and went beyond my expectations an many areas.

I recently completed the 120 hour TEFL course and I must say that it really exceeded my expectations. Been an ALT and taking this course has really broadened my scope of knowledge in the teaching world. I learned and unlearned so many things. I highly recommend this course to all craving to teach English as it covers the teaching of English from toddlers to young adults to adults and upto professional level. Taking the course will also boost your chances of landing that great teaching job you've always admired and also make you a better person if you really want to learn or know the nitty-gritty of English.

There is definitely no need to pay extra for the videos and tutors. Everything is written for a ninth-grade reading comprehension and all the concepts are kept quite shallow. No critical thinking is required to pass with a 90% or higher in all the units.

The vast majority of the theories and pedagogy are only discussed in a sentence or two, so you don't get a very rounded perspective on teaching ESL. There is only one method that is used in any detail, so that you feel you have no choice but to use that method in your own teaching because it's the only one you really understand.

If you already have a strong command of English, just be aware that the grammar and the poorly-aged content can make the units a bit of struggle. The materials clearly have not been updated in a decade or two.

Some of the units will make you do your own research because they don't cover it, but still require you to know it. This includes having to read a downright offensive piece about judging a culture based on its masculinity level (femininity is not a part of this piece as they take the view that femininity is simply the far low scale of masculinity).

I got retired and felt bored. So I decided to learn one more skill- to be an English teacher. English is my second language, and it was quite a hard task for me. I was looking for a good teaching platform, I searched few courses very carefully. At the same time I was searching for the fair price. From many options I chose ITTT, and I've never reggreted it.
This is awesome course. I've completed 220 hours course : 120 hours online TEFL, 50 hours specialized Teaching English to Young Learners course and 50 hours specialized Teaching Business English course.
The information in each course was very interesting, well presented, so it was even kind of fun to study.
There are also a lot of references to other resources presented in the courses.
The support from the stuff was also a great experience: as soon as I ask for the help, the answer was almost immediately provided.
I just want to cheer other non native English speakers up to take any of ITTT courses if they want to continue studying and working (at any age).
I am 72 years old , so far I'm not sure about my future work , but I feel very happy and excited that I found my strength and willpower to complete ITTT courses.
I highly recommend ITTT courses to those people who are looking for the best education as a teacher!

170-hour TEFL + TEO was an amazing thing to do and I believe the right choice. I approached it with mixed feelings: on one hand, I was overconfident, and on the other hand, I had doubts. By the third unit all my feelings straightened out and I started to enjoy myself. Easy to navigate, but you have to concentrate and get familiar with the terms. It is dense, it is useful. I had an experience with some other online courses, but this one stands out. Soon I found myself checking and reading every link, I had to return to some parts to connect it with later content, but it worked like a skillfully guided net without any confusion or misunderstanding. It was not only a course but a powerful tool.

ITTT 170-hour TEFL course was a challenge for me. I was surprised by how dense and informative the course is, therefore useful when starting your teaching career. In the beginning, I was worried if I am up to this challenge, but after some time I understood that I am getting a needed foundation to become a professional. While refreshing grammar was an inevitable element that was expected, an upgrade with teaching methods, tips and tricks created an ensemble that is at the highest level. It was motivating and given through a pleasant user interface. From one unit to another I felt more confident that I am building knowledge that I will use and return to from time to time to enforce my career and overcome any possible obstacles. It had been over 2 years since completing ym ITTT 220 Hour Master TEFL online. I really appreciate the course, it is short (170-hour) but really informative. A lot of website resources to make the teaching more interesting and easier. It was a really handy to know the course books which are more relevant all over the world, a lot of game resources, a plenty of ideas how to engage the students. Excellent! I really liked the part with video lesson where an experienced teacher shows how to act during the lesson and what mistakes should we avoid. Hope to be on the place of this teacher and have a practice in real classroom abroad
