Amazing time!

Really impressed with AIP's services and glad that they were able to provide me a remote internship with this whole pandemic messing up my original plans. The internship experience was obviously not something that I was looking because I expected my first internship to be a face to face type of thing, but the work overall was great and meeting my colleagues online weren't an issue as well.

AIP's staff did their thing with supporting me and finding the best company in my preferred industry and I can't thank them enough.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Do have a mindset getting into remote internships that it won't be the experience you're looking for. But still a great one.

Online services saves the day!

Right off the bat, remote internships saved my professional career as I was struggling to find internships around my area with the whole COVID situation playing out. Thanks to my friend who recommended me AIP, as he has used their services before, I took the opportunity to try it out and apply for the program.

Everything was slow at first in terms of receiving tasks from the company because it was hard to keep up in terms on time zones and what not. But it all got better once I got used to it and managed it all together with my colleagues. Tasks were not that difficult but definitely taught me a lot about businesses.

Definitely no regrets and will probably use AIP again for another remote internship.

What would you improve about this program?
Only if there was an option to select certain countries of companies I would like to work with, it would be amazing.

Eye Opening!

For 3 months, I did a remote internship in video & production. I was supposed to intern abroad but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I thought that it was safer and more beneficial to switch to do a remote internship.

At first, I had doubts about whether this process was going to be successful. I was mesmerized by the experience I got and lessons I learned. I was able to do all the work that needed to be done in such an efficient manner, and most of that is because of my wonderful supervisors. I met with them, virtually, to turn in my assignments and every time I had doubts, all the supervisors would carefully explain how to approach the problem. I loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would be more attentive to my work since I was very lazy at times.

Very engaging!

I did a remote internship in business development. It was a very eye opening experience, getting to work online with colleagues that are (mostly) overseas. My supervisors were very engaging and understanding. Whenever I had questions, or didn't understand something, they would patiently teach me. I thought that was very valuable.

All in all, they were great mentors and I thought the experience was very worthwhile! I had such a great time doing a remote internship through AIP. I highly recommend this agency if you're looking for an internship this summer.

What would you improve about this program?
I would appreciate it if there was some sort of funding to help students.

Quite the experience!

I just feel like everything about this whole internship experience was just a roller coaster.

The process in the beginning was confusing as hell and I wasn't even sure if I was going to get placed into a company. I kept getting bounced to different point-of-contact and at one point, I just got lost in the process. Though, I gotta give it to Emmanuel who kept me on the loop and made sure that I was getting the internship I wanted.

I was also very lucky that I was already in Australia doing my masters so it didn't get complicated finding an internship for me as the country went on lock-down due to the pandemic.

Overall experience was amazing, my colleagues were the coolest and I'll surely continue to be in touch with them.

What would you improve about this program?
-It'd be nice to stay efficient and have one point-of-contact instead of multiple

Remote Internship for a change

I had the opportunity to participate in AIP's newly introduced "Remote Internship" program. I've had my eyes on Japan for the longest time but the timing was just disappointing with the whole coronavirus attacking the whole word.

Nonetheless, my parents found out about AIP and introduced the opportunity to me, skeptical at first, I saw it as a great chance to actually get something done during this stay-at-home scene. My point of contact was very helpful and guided me throughout everything and made sure I was satisfied with my choices. They even took the time to check up on me from time to time just to see how I was doing, and I really appreciated that. The company I worked for gave me the necessary training and was actually kind enough to give me enough time to complete the tasks given considering the time zones. It would obviously be better if I was there in person, but this was good enough for me.

Safe to say, I have something to put onto my CV for the future.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Going through with this program in the first place was pretty nerve-racking but my parents helped me out and calmed me down enough to convince me that this was the right path.

Surprise after surprise!

Initially thought it was going to be a disaster but it was a complete 180!
When I heard my internship wasn't going to be in Bangkok but rather in another province, I immediately felt concerned about the safety of it all. But the company I interned took good care of me and even offered me an accommodation close to the site. It just made everything smooth and easy for me to adjust to everything. Really commending the AIP staff for placing me into this company and also for guiding me throughout the whole process. There was definitely some hiccup along the way when searching for the right company, but it all paid out in the end and I couldn't ask for a better experience!
I've already been offered a full time position but still contemplating whether or not I should take it because of this whole coronavirus.
10/10

What would you improve about this program?
I would like to have a list of companies that I can choose from rather than being received only one offer.

Quarantine ruined my internship, or did it?

This coronavirus definitely did it.
I was having an amazing time in Korea, getting the opportunity to travel around and the explore with my friends and colleagues, and then everything went on lockdown and my parents called me back home. What's definitely frustrating is that for the first time in weeks, I was getting along with my colleagues and was finally showing me around when I was somewhat alone when I first arrived.
I don't think I can say much about AIP other than they've done a great job in terms of keeping me in check and on high alert with the news of the coronavirus and giving me advice on what I have to do next. Though, one thing I would like to thank them for is speaking with the company I was interning with and having them allow me to still connect with them in case I need to complete any incomplete tasks given in my internship.
Other than that, I really wished I completed my internship instead of having to leave early but I will definitely come back to meet all the new friends I've made.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
Seeing everyone in Korea going mayhem about the coronavirus was definitely new and life experience. Though, I'd never go through it again if I had the choice.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

I got a job/internship overseas and after AIP got my money.... I didn't hear from them again. NOT WORTH THE MONEY TRUST ME !

The AIP employees/representatives are unprofessional, rude, and not personable at all. There were so many times I asked for advice or guidance on the process and was never answered correctly or even at all. I paid tons of money for them to connect me to an employee and THAT was it. They did not help with anything else in the process and I paid thousands of $'s. I honestly should have worked with another company. I ended up getting a great internship out of the program; however, AIP employees and the service that you get is HORRIBLE. Work with another company that offers more for your money.

What would you improve about this program?
EVERYTHING
- Provide more for your students
- Hire new consultants and employees
- Consultants need to be trained better & more personable
- Reduce cost or offer other options (visa coverage, etc)

Dreams do come true!

Brilliant program, with everything that a person who is looking for an internship is in need. My journey with AIP have started quite a while ago, however, due to personal reasons I was not able to join the program as was initially planned. My placement coordinator kindly helped me with postponing the start date for a year, and the process cost me the exact same fee, no additional amount has been charged. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an internship this organization and personally suggest to go with Standard package. Even if it looks like a big amount at the first glance but in reality by dividing it into months basis, everything becomes very clear and affordable. On top of that, for me, Singapore was the place I’ve never been before so the support from someone who is present there for years is definitely vital aspect. Of course the majority of features from AIP package could be arranged on their own but you can’t imagine how convenient and easy it was for me with the package from the program. Every question I had was answered very friendly and professionally, I’ve met a lot of new people, due to work and also other participants. The company I've been placed at was really friendly and experienced with other interns before. Really grateful to my parents and AIP for making this possible. Now I am working full time in Singapore and plan to stay in Asia for longer since the region is growing extremely fast. Without any hesitation will advice to anyone with big ambitions to grow and earn to come to Asia.

What would you improve about this program?
I definitely ran into some problems in the beginning with Visa's and I wished I knew everything before.
