What an astonishing experience!

I remember it like it was yesterday. Being able to travel to Thailand despite the global pandemic felt unreal and impossible and yet, I still made it. This experience itself literally made me fall in love with Bangkok and I can now see myself settling here when I retire. I've had the opportunity to even do networking which is a great hobby of mine. I am now back in the US but once the dust settles, I will be coming back here to pursue my professional career here. The people, the culture, the food, everything about Thailand just makes you love Thailand and I'm really happy I got to experience this. For those looking to come to Thailand, try it out!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Making a decision to travel to another country during the spread of COVID-19 was definitely an experience I don't think anyone wouldn't made.

Recommended for all students!

I have just completed a long 4 month remote internship with my host company in Korea and I must say that I'm impressed with the quality that remote internships offer to the world. You won't obviously be meeting your colleagues in person and will be doing so online, but it honestly isn't so bad. I feel like I grew pretty close with my colleagues and I can honestly see myself working for this company in the near future. I'd say that this whole experience was easy for me to go through because I'm a home person after all, though this would be great for all students!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Keep on trying new things even if you feel like it's not something in your area.

Safe and sound!

This internship experience went better than expected!! I applied to AIP last year around October and began my internship in South Korea in January. It was scary to travel at first because of the early stages of COVID-19 being announced around the world but AIP suggested me South Korea as they were handling the virus at the highest and impressive level. Interacting with people in Korea was a huge change with both the cultural differences and covid-19 safety measure. Nonetheless, I was able to make good friends with my colleagues and random strangers in the country. Everyone was really friendly and I definitely grew in love with the country. I will most definitely be visiting in the near future!

What would you improve about this program?
There were a couple of times during the placement process where I wasn't getting responses from the AIP staff for a couple of days. Though, I would get the help when needed and that's the important part I was looking for.

Building up, Going up

This was my first internship experience and I'm glad I did it with AIP. A remote internship is something that my parents and I were always concerned about because of its nature in terms of working at home and not physically being present for the internship itself. With COVID however, we had to make some changes and I finally went through it.

For many years, I've always had help from parents and friends with whatever I did in life. I was really glad AIP was there to step it up and to take care of me along the process as this is my first internship. My experience overall was great and this is for sure a great first step to my future career!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would be much more confident in my meetings and discussions with AIP or my host company.

Grateful for the opportunity!

Couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to go to South Korea for an internship/vacation and looking at my photos and videos of my experience now, I'm really lucky to have had the experience. Despite the lockdown in multiple countries, I was eligible to travel to South Korea and it was one of the best experiences of my life, hands down.

I pretty much give a lot of credit to AIP for the massive help to making this dream of mine come true. With all their help and advice, I was able to pull through this whilst traveling and this will be something I will never forget. I'm still in touch with their community manager and he's been very nice to me!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
I think everyone should keep an open mind when it comes to an opportunity that doesn't seem real

Great service overall!

I really have no complaints!

The service from the beginning to the end was detailed, thorough, and easy to understand. One thing I really loved was the communication I've had with my point of contact of AIP. Replies came in swiftly and my concerns were always solved on the spot. It's honestly rare for that type of service to exist as I've hard experience in the past with other providers with horrible communication.

My internship experience overall was great as well, amazing colleagues and supervisor that taught me everything I needed to know. Thankful for an amazing internship experience and I recommend to all looking for work experience at this time.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Be open to opportunities that seem skeptical or questionable, you never know what's on the other side of the doors!

Multitasking through it all

We are honestly in the day and age where a lot of opportunities to improve in life is presented and it's up to us to advantage of that, and this case it would be remote internships. With COVID-19 hitting a global scale, everyone like myself are just staying at home doing online classes and I've noticed that with all the free time I had, why not look around for internships? I looked around and AIP looked promising and thus I applied for them.

The process was straight forward and well explained by the interviewer, my parents and I were really impressed with the program and I proceeded with it. My internship experience was not bad but I wouldn't say that it was really really good either. It had it's ups and downs but my supervisor of the company was really patient with me which was something that I was looking for. The tasks itself weren't too hard and I was able to get through each week. My time with AIP and my host company was great overall!

What would you improve about this program?
I wish I could've worked with a corporate firm rather than a start up.

One step at a time!

Due to the ongoing pandemic, many students like myself are stuck at home doing online classes with hours of free time. I took the initiative of looking around for internships that could be done online and going through different internship program was an experience. I chose AIP in the end cause it was the cheapest and it seemed like the reviews were great.

My experience with AIP was great with the added thought that they can be better. The process itself was explained by my point of contact and it seemed self-explanatory. However, improvements can definitely be made in some areas such as getting more details of the company's that were interested in my profile before the interview. Nonetheless, the communication was spot on and the company that I interned for in the end were very nice and helpful in getting me enough experience to jumpstart my career.

If you're looking for an internship program, AIP is it!

What would you improve about this program?
Having more details on the company I will be interviewing for could help me get a better idea and questions that would be asked.

Loved every minute of my time!

I'm really happy to have had an internship experience in Singapore! Looking at the situation today with the global pandemic, I'm really glad that I took the opportunity couple of months before 2020. Businesses at the time was stable and people were traveling in and out. My experience in general was fantastic. I've joined internship program like AIP in the past but AIP really stood out out of all them with their fantastic service. I also felt that I got what I was paying for which was something that was important to me as it didn't feel like a scam of any kind. Can most definitely vouch for AIP and I recommended this program to every student out there!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
If you see an opportunity in front of you, take it. You never know what may happen in the following months/years.

Miraculously amazing!

Being able to travel to another country with the ongoing pandemic was really a miracle that I was looking for in the darkest times of my life.

Going to Korea was a childhood dream of mine and with my initial plans to go in 2019, I thought for sure I could make it in 2020 and I promised myself as well. I applied to AIP for an internship and it seemed that everything was falling apart when COVID-19 was announced as a global pandemic and every country was basically closing down their borders. Luckily enough, AIP updated me and informed with the possibility of going to Korea as businesses were slowly getting back on their feet. All I had to do was go through a 2-week quarantine period and then I was able to proceed to doing an internship in South Korea.

The experience was a lifetime dream and a memory that will forever be engraved in my body. I am entirely grateful and I look to explore further to countries like Japan or Taiwan.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Getting my parents approval was definitely hard but making them understand that this is for my experience was all I needed to say.
