Thank you so much to GAC for helping me to achieve my dream

Hi everyone, I am from the United States of America. I would just like to share a little bit of my experience working with GoabroadChina. I am actually a Chinese major and I've been studying Chinese for about 5 years, but I've never had the opportunity to come to China. I found GoAbroadchina very accommodating and BLCU was one of the universities that they had a relationship with that they could help me with applying for the university.

I have to say that GoAbroadChina has been extremely helpful in every circumstance that I came across when I applied for the program. Every time I had questions about my visa process, about my accommodations, about the process of applying for the university that I wanted to be at, or dates and so on. GoAbroadChina was very very helpful and timely in responding to my questions.

I really appreciate the service that they have offered and they also include services such as picking you up from the airport and hosting some activities where GoAbroadChina workers will come and host a few of the students or interns and do friend activities and so on. My accommodations are beautiful. They are spacious and clean. I've very much enjoyed living here being a part of the Chinese culture and finally being immersed.

I'm very grateful for GoAbroadChina and all of the service that they provided for me in being able to make my dream a reality to study abroad at BLCU. If you're coming to improve your language or understand the business side of the Asian world, then GoabroadChina is a wonderful company to pair up with, to be able to find programs times, and options that would suit you. so thank you so much to GoAbroadChina for helping me to achieve my dream.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
I like Chinese hotpot, haha
Pros
  • GoAbroadChina was very very helpful and timely in responding to my questions.
  • GoAbroadChina weekend activities were very wonderful
  • My accommodations were beautiful.

Go Abroad China language program at Chinese university 2024

Hi, I'm from Indonesia and currently in Beijing at UIBE (University of International Business and Economics). Go Abroad China has really helped me throughout my journey here, they've helped me with admissions and registration here at the university, and they've also picked me up from the airport which was really nice, especially after a long flight and you just want your rest. They've also helped me with daily necessities here, such as getting a SIM card a bank card, and a transportation card. They've also really helped me with translations here especially because I'm here to learn Mandarin, and so I'm not able to speak and communicate with other people in Mandarin, they've helped me translate most of the things here and just made my stay here, really comfortable so thank you for that.

I would recommend Go Abroad China to my friends. I really appreciate everything.

Hello, my name is Kyrra White. I'm 17 years old. I attend Bentley University, where I major in international business. Specifically, I am majoring in Chinese. I have studied Mandarin Chinese for four years, and I came to China to further my language studies.

I am participating in the Beijing Language and Culture University Chinese program. It's been awesome so far. Go Abroad China has really been supportive. I found out about Go Abroad China online, and although I didn't know much about it, I thought, why not? It was a great choice. I really enjoy the program and the support I have received.

Meeting people from around the world was pretty awesome. I've never had a class where there are people from all around the world in one spot. Literally, every continent was represented; it was awesome. Also, my teachers were very nice and helpful after class. If I needed any extra help, they were there for me. It was really good. I completed my goal, which was to get better in Chinese, and I have improved a lot. This experience was unique because when I came to China through a program, I had someone there to pick me up and take me to my host parents. I just had people there to help me, and that was different for me, but I thought it was great. I loved it. Also, living with a host family was pretty awesome. I really got to dive in and immerse myself in Chinese culture.

Because of Go Abroad China, my classes were set up, and I had very comfortable living conditions. I've been able to go farther in my language studies. My major is international business with a focus on Chinese, which works specifically with Chinese and American business relations. Knowing Chinese is very important for me, and I feel like I've gotten a lot farther than I would have if I stayed home. Being here and immersing myself in Chinese culture has allowed me to figure out where I want to go in the future.

The host family was really cool. I loved my host family. I also had host grandparents, which was very comfortable for me, and I felt safe. That's important.

I went to the Great Wall of China, which was really awesome. I had done it before, but this time was a completely different experience. I went with my classmates, and it was really great. I also went to Mongolia for a field trip. That was a really fun trip, well-planned, and I felt safe the entire time. It was really great.

I would recommend Go Abroad China to my friends. The classroom is different from what I'm used to, but I like it. At first, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but once I got here, I realized that I was in good hands. I felt comfortable, and people were there to help me, teach me how to get to school every day, and help with simple things.

I'd like to thank you a lot for this experience. I really appreciate everything. You guys are a great team. Thank you.

GoAbroadChina has always been very helpful

My name is Jean Pirenne. I joined the GoAbroadChina program and participated from the beginning of January to the 19th of February. My experience was very good. My host family was very nice. They mentioned that their screening process is very rigorous, and I believe them because the host family was really good. I can't say anything bad about them, so that was a very good point. I was very satisfied as well with my Chinese lessons. From what I've heard, they enrolled me in one of the most well-known and recommended private Chinese learning schools in Beijing, and it was very, very useful. I learned a lot of Chinese.

I started learning Chinese when I was about 15 or 16 years old, mainly because my dad encouraged me to do it. But I ended up really liking it, so I continued doing it. I think the value lies in several things. Obviously, there's a practical value in helping with your future career. That aside, it's also really fun. It really exercises your brain more than any other language, I think, because of all the visual recognition you have to use and all the characters you have to learn. It's a really rewarding experience, and even though it's hard, if you stick to it and your Chinese slowly improves, it can be very rewarding.

GoAbrodChina has always been very helpful, particularly Zoe. She was always there if I needed anything, answered my questions, and made me feel very welcomed and safe. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time in China, learn Chinese, or have an internship. I recommend it to anyone.

GoAbroadChina helped me sort out any issues that I had

To begin, with I got in touch with them about a year ago and then GoAbroadChina sent me an accepting email. I was very fortunate to have GoAbroadChina as they helped me sort out my accommodation, my visa as well as a lot of other extra services that I would require. They arranged airport pick-up, my SIM card so I could be able to get internet and communicate with anyone.

GoAbroadChina also helped set up Chinese courses, set up tours for me to explore China. I actually visited Beijing with GoAbroadChina guides and it was an amazing experience.

GoAbroadChina also helped me sort out any issues that I had. I had a few problems visiting the hospital and they made sure that I was able go to the hospital with the translator. I've had an amazing experience with GoAbroadChina and I really really would recommend.

GoAbroadChina is the best one for Chinese language study in China

I joined GoAbrodChina Chinese language immersion program in 2023.

The GoAbroadChina Beijing office staff was very helpful in handling all issues of studying abroad. From transfers to and from the airport, enrollment at the University, health insurance and a visa, etc. I feel that this made my stay less stressful than my classmates, who constantly had to deal with these important issues using their beginning Chinese. GoAbroadChina also arranged many social and cultural outings, which truly enhanced my China experience.

I am thankful to all my teachers for their dedicated teaching.

My host family that GoAbroadChina arranged was very kind and helpful in every way. They always offered to help with my homework when I was having difficulty, and every night at dinner our conversations provided me with ideal listening and oral practice, as well as a lesson in Chinese culture. Living with a family also educates you in everything from Chinese culture to common idioms and cooking, etc.

My advice to anyone planning an intensive language course and homestay in China is to coordinate your stay through a program, and GoAbroadChina is the best one to use!
