Typical fees for tuition, accommodation and some social events is $1,000 per week. There are optional weekend social events that you can also book, including trips to Shakespeare's Straford-Upon-Avon, the Derbyshire peak district to see Chatsworth House or to Lincoln and it's historic cathedral (which was at one time the world's tallest building).

The Nottingham Trent University Global Summer School provides you with the opportunity to develop a personalized one, two, three or four week study program. You can follow a pathway in journalism, science, photography or business, or change subjects each week and create a program including architecture, robotics, education and law - the choice is yours. Credit and a transcript apply.

We are in the heart of England and boast easy access to all the UK's major cities and attractions. Nottingham is one of the top destinations for students, and our Student's Union currently holds the title of the best in the UK.

Great time!
MBA is an exciting time a lot to learn and a lot to do, comparing with studing in Poland, England is much more practical, you meet a lot of business people with practice.
I had only few problems with travelling.
I think it is very important to stay safe while traveling, during my last travel in Europe I had a problem with my date while using Wi-Fi a lot of my data from my Phone and Laptop where stolen. I think you should use VPN while traveling. Some VPN are free and worth using! https://howtogetavpn.com

Steve has been involved in summer schools and study abroad for over twenty years, in both London and Nottingham. Nottingham is his home town, so he has no problem in showing off everything the city has to offer international students.

What is your favorite travel memory?

I get to travel overseas quite a lot, but one of my favorite places has to be in the UK. Whitstable is the perfect English seaside town with a slightly creative, naughty edge, and the best oysters you can find. There are great little shops, top award-winning restaurants, wonky seafront pubs, crazy locals and a big sky - it's a bit of a hidden treasure, so please don't go there.

Which destination is most underrated? Conversely, which is most overrated?

I went to Berlin for the first time a few years ago and it was amazing. It was such a surprise. I knew it would have good galleries and museums, and big beers, but it had much more. Everything was easy to navigate, the people were friendly and the bars and restaurants were really funky. I'd go back there anytime.

And overrated. Maybe Paris. The culture is great but there are only so many galleries you can do before you get a bit jaded. And everything closes on Sundays - it's a ghost town, nothing to do.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

We've had summer study abroad students at NTU for many years', and because I'm at a lot of the orientation and hosting events you get to know a lot of people - most of whom I'm still in contact with. The best experience is seeing students who have left their home country for the first time, come to the UK, and then go home with a taste for travel.

Previous students have travelled on to Icelandic nature reserves or sent reports home from Nepal, or started their own creative businesses... and I like to think their NTU experience gave them a bit of perspective and confidence. We even get to see their wedding photos!

What unique qualities does your company possess?

Nottingham Trent University has an amazing student community. It currently holds the award for best Student's Union in the UK - meaning the support services, social events and sports facilities at NTU are second to none.

The NTU Global Summer School is therefore a great way for students from around the world to experience this student-friendly environment first hand, whilst also studying in our industry-standard workshops and laboratories on campuses in the heart of the city.

And being in the center of the country it's easy to jump on a train and see the rest of the country - a must for any study abroad student.
