I came to China nervous and afraid of the unknown. I was truly in the dark and worried that it was going to be a difficult transition. To go into more detail. First day they helped with SIM cards and all the necessary things to survive in China. It was hard to fight the jet lag but it helped a lot.

The agency has been very helpful in setting up everything in order to have a comfortable life in China. The school life is also very rewarding. The location is good and very convenient for traveling between the many different locations available for relaxation and entertainment. There are multiple opportunities available to interact with other foreign teachers while simultaneously better understanding the local culture. From the very start, everyone at TLE have been extremely welcoming, supportive and helpful in every aspect of my journey in both massive changes of helping me with documentation and finding an apartment as well as the little things they do such as the welcome gift and always giving me a bottle of water when I go to the office. So my situation was very complicated. Of course I needed to find a job but I also have a family and we all come from different countries. So getting visas is very difficult. But TLE helped through the whole process. And not just help, but they walked us through the whole process. So many times I was amazed because I wouldn’t have know where to start had it not been for their direction.

And the school I ended up in is absolutely amazing! TLE also continues to provide support and training to continue to improve my teaching. It’s so awesome!

What I want to stress is that if you’re excited to start teaching in China but are a little nervous about the whole process then I highly recommend TLE. They have your back! And they will cheer you on the whole way!

Honestly, where to begin. The first day of arriving, I wanted to book a flight ticket back home, because I felt so overwhelmed and anxious, but when I met familiar faces, “meeting TLE,” all that went away. I don’t know what I would have done if it weren’t for TLE.
