The experience of coming over to China to teach can be overwhelming. But you meet a lot of people who become your support group and friends. It’s a unique experience and definitely recommend. You truly never stop learning. Through the process you learn more about your self and teaching methods. One of the many perks of teaching in China there is always something to do (that won’t break the wallet…that much). Always expect to find something exciting around the corner. I’m a single woman and moving to a foreign country and continent was both nerve racking and scary; but, TLE answered all the question and held my hand through it all. Even after arriving they are free always to help and answer questions. Before arriving they help you settle all your paper work, and after arriving they set you up in a hotel and eventually an apartment with your set preferences. If you have a problem, need medicine, need a translator, anything, they will be there. I have to say it’s been a great experience so far.

Before I came to China, I was incredibly afraid of how things would go since I was coming entirely alone. But once I arrived in Shenzhen, I realised that I had nothing to fear because TLE were with me every step of the way. They helped me with everything, from downloading needed all the necessary apps, to getting myself an apartment. Even mundane things such as going to the doctor or needing advice. They've always been there. Not only were they there when I have needed them. They have also arranged the occasional meet up for teachers to experience some fun activities together. We can all socialise, get know one another and make friends within the agency. It's very reassuring.
