Amazing experience

They helped to make the adjustment from my home country to Korea in no time. There was so much support that I had from staff, especially Alistair. He always replies to emails within the day sometimes even within the hour and gave lots of helpful tips for interviews, orientation and continued his help even once I have moved into my new apartment. The EPIK staff were also amazing during orientation. They were so friendly and never once out you down if you made a mistake, they showed me a way to improve myself as a teacher in Korea. If you’re thinking of using this program I definitely recommend!!!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Having my interview with EPIK. I was so nervous but Alistair and I had a mock interview before and he gave me so many helpful tips from what I should know to how I should dress. It really helped to calm my nerves

Amazing Recruiter

As someone who is anxious about everything, especially rejection, having a recruiter like Korean Horizons/Alistair, has truly been an amazing experience! Alistair is very responsive to emails and gives great advice for both the application and the interview! I was especially nervous for my interview because this was my first ever "real job" interview, but with Alistair's guidance, I managed to pass. I highly recommend Korean Horizons to people who want to ensure that they get into EPIK! Alistair will be with you throughout the entire process!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
The interview was something I was super nervous about. Alistair gave really great advice and did a mock interview with me and that really helped! I also practiced a lot by recording myself and with friends and family to really prepare myself.

Highly recommend

I highly recommend working with Korean Horizons throughout your Epik journey. Alistair has been of great assistance since the beginning of my Epik application journey and till this day. I highly recommend him to other applicants out there who wish to teach at public schools in South Korea. The Epik program will equip you with the right set of skills to teach even without an education degree. The process is challenging at first and with the right recruiter, you can have a stress free application journey.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
Doubting myself if I’m good enough to be a teacher

Highly recommend!

100% recommend going with Korean Horizons if you're applying to EPIK. Alistair has been such a help with a such a stressful and time-consuming application.

I think the best part about applying through Korean Horizons specifically is how attentive Alistair is to every application. Everyone gets a practice interview (with advice that is invaluable) and he replies to your emails very quickly with all the answers you need.

Alistair continues to offer help and support for the duration you're in South Korea.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Save yourself the extra stress and time, and apply with Korean Horizons.

Highly recommend!

I loved my experience with Korean Horizons! Alistair has been absolutely great the entire process. I had previously applied with EPIK and didn't receive a placement so i decided to go with a recruiter the next time. Alistair gave fantastic advice and even mock interviews to prepare for the official EPIK interview. He also continues to check up on current teachers after placement. I have also made great friends also in the KH program and we continue to talk and make plans to hang out while here 10/10

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Definitely preparing for the interview. The thought of it gave me so much anxiety but the mock interview helped so much.

Highly Recommend Korean Horizons

I 100% recommend Korean Horizons.
Alistair was extremely helpful and kept you informed and updated every step of the application process. He answered any questions or concerns and was very quick to respond to emails.
The support Alistair and KH offers is invaluable - throughout the application process, the Visa process, the journey to Korea, and even once I'd moved into my apartment in Korea.
KH goes above and beyond so if you're thinking about applying to EPIK through a recruiter I'd highly recommend KH.

Alistair is the best!

I would highly recommend Korean Horizons. The service is extremely effecient and Alistair does everything he can to guide you through the application process and beyond. This is the second time I've applied through KH and I could not be happier. The entire application process can be quite overwhelming so it's truly incredible yo have someone in your corner to help you through everything, and that's exactly what KH does, from the initial application all the way through to placement and finding your feet in Korea.

If you are thinking about applying for EPIK through a recruiter let it be Korean Horizons! They are excellent!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
The interview. However, I had a practice interview with Alistair before the actual interview and he provided me with so many tips and pointers that I felt confident when it came to the interview.
