I completed my TEFL course in April 2022 (a few months ago) and I still remember how great it was. The staff is amazing, they helped in every situation, answered all my questions and were there for me throughout the whole month. I am a non-native speaker so I was a bit scared before starting the course about how it's going to go, but from day 1 it was super comfortable to be there and I got all the support I needed. At the end of the course I felt ready to teach and a few weeks later I was already in a summer camp as an English teacher. Thank you so much for everything! I 100% recommend SEE TEFL

I successfully completed the SEE-TEFL 120 hour in the Aug-Sep 22 group. I initially wasn’t sure if teaching was for me. What I found though is the experience was incredible, the SEE tuition top notch and John and his team where focused on us and our journey from day 1

For a non-teacher you do need to apply yourself to the coursework though, but it can be done.

I have now started to look for volunteer work, and hopefully will change the lives of Thai children at temple schools around Thailand.

I completed SEE TEFL's 120 Hour TEFL Certification program and I can't say enough good things about the program. Prior to arriving in Thailand SEE TEFL's director, John Quinn, was extremely supportive and guided me through the whole process. In fact, it was John's continual support and commitment to his program and its students, which was a big deciding factor in my decision to choose Thailand as my destination to teach English.

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum, which thoroughly prepares students for teaching in the classroom. The teaching practices were well organized and provided students a practical application of material and methodologies discussed in class. The SEE TEFL trainers were knowledgeable and very supportive. When I took the program, I was lucky enough to be trained by Shouvik and Terry. They were both outstanding and even offered to assist students outside classroom/training hours.

If you are looking for a solid TEFL certification program, which offers support, encouragement and a lot of fun, then look no further than SEE TEFL!!

I took the 4-week TEFL course back in spring 2015. Any questions or worries that I had prior to arriving in Thailand were quickly resolved by emailing the school. John (the school’s director) would promptly reply to all of my inquiries, providing lots of useful information and explaining different visa options.

Once in Thailand, the course itself far exceeded my expectations. The class size was small, which created an intimate group setting. The lessons were engaging and really prepared us for the teaching practices by going over the theory and methodology of teaching English in an EFL environment. However, that’s not to say that the teaching practices were in any way easy. We spent many days and nights labouring over those first few lessons, making our lesson plans and creating our own teaching materials, but with each of those teaching practices (and the constructive feedback that went along with them) I felt more and more confident in front of a classroom.

I had zero teaching experience prior to attending SEE TEFL, but by the end of the program I really felt ready and excited to teach English in SE Asia. Although I had originally planned to go to Vietnam once the course was over, I ended up finding a job in Chiang Mai right away thanks to this course.

In short, I cannot recommend this school enough to anyone wishing to come teach English in SE Asia. The course is intense, but John and his team are there to help and encourage you every step of the way. And a special mention for Ying’s Thai lessons, which were always funny and interesting, and served as a great introduction to the Thai language and culture.

My husband and I just finished our four week TEFL course at SEE TEFL! We were so impressed with everything about the course -- the staff, the materials, the level of care and preparation, etc. We couldn't recommend it more. As you consider teaching English overseas, a lot of people will tell you to save money and do your TEFL online -- don't listen! We are so thankful we gained the valuable experience that SEE TEFL provides through the various grammar inputs and teaching practices. You get real experience in classrooms around Chiang Mai and the trainers give you valuable feedback to take with you into your own classrooms moving forward. The course is not for the faint at heart. It's hard work but well worth it! We really couldn't recommend this program more!

Have just graduated from SEE TEFL in Chiang Mai. This was an amazing experience. The teaching and support staff at SEE TEFL were nothing short of amazing. This course challenged me in ways I frankly was not expecting. The tuition and support from staff and fellow students was second to none. The 6 practical lessons in local Chiang Mai schools enabled me to practice my skills and understand what the teaching process was like as a first time TEFL Teacher. There was tremendous variety in our teaching practices so that all classes were covered from Kindergarten to Vocational level students. The course enabled me to learn how to plan lessons, create activities to be used in the classroom, manage time effectively and critically evaluate my performance. This is a wonderful course that is highly regarded and provides international accreditation. So happy I chose SEE TEFL to complete this course.

Completing the 120-hour TEFL course has been a positive life changing experience. It started me with the necessary skills, knowledge, and assistance to help secure my first teaching position. This course and staff associated with it has guided me on a career path that has been extremely satisfying. After 8 years teaching in SE Asia (Thailand and Vietnam), i can honestly say that this course helped me to develop a passion for teaching. The instructors and staff associated with SEE TEFL in Chiang Mai were polite, understanding of cultural differences, and always willing to help. The 120-hour course seemed intense at the time but all the hard work does payoff. Chiang Mai is a beautiful city that is easy to feel comfortable with great opportunities for someone to have many growing experiences.

I was recommended the SEETEFL certification course by a friend and must say it definitely lived up to my expectations. After an intense 4 week course with 6 observed teaching practices, I felt confident in my abilities to plan and teach a complete ESL lessons. SEETEFL gave me the tools needed to jump into a classroom and teach right away. I found a job within two weeks of graduating from the course and am loving my new life teaching English in Asia!
