If your like me and starting fresh with just a little experience in the TEFL world you will be very happy with this course. It was laid out nicely with movies, pictures and tables which kept the learning process interesting. The content was also written in a way that I could understand and apply. I was very impressed with how awesome the staff was. I was assigned a personal advisor named Sandra who was amazing and always so quick to answer any questions or issues I was having with the course. After completing the course I definitely feel that I made a great choice and feel confidant I that I'll be able to do a great job at any TEFL job I apply for.

PremierTEFL has been a great experience. I already had some experience as a trainer, mentor and as a teacher of personal development, but I definitely got more tools and information through the 168 hours course. They provide with a lot of material that is presented in different ways. They preach as a teacher you should pay attention to your learner's needs and that's what they do as well in their course (for as much this is possible in an online course). The customer service is great. I had a few questions and got a very quick response from them!
For me personally, I will use this course for online teaching as an addition to my online coaching business.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

For me, it would have worked better if I could look at all the course material (so all the modules) first and find connections between the different modules. This was not possible, because you have to finish module 1 to go to module 2, etc. For me, this was a downside.

The journey thus far has been great. As a teacher already experienced in teaching English abroad, some of the information has been more of a review, but it is nice to reinforce and relearn techniques useful for ESL classrooms. That said, I have also been able to gain some new information about technical aspects of the classroom and different teaching styles. The suggested activities and practices are always a welcome addition to my own collection, as well.

Additionally, the extra courses included in this package provide a good amount of information for specific areas of teaching. It has been fun exploring them.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

If I did this TEFL program again, I would invest in the Level 5 OFQUAL-regulated TEFL course

Premier TEFL has taught me much although I have been a teacher of English for over 30 years. Every lesson that I go through exposes me to something new, which I incorporate in instructing my students. Presently, I teach writing in the sciences at the university level and I have been using much of what I have learnt from this programme. I am preparing for my retirement and plan to travel the world and teach English and already I feel confident that I will meet much success as a result of studying with Premier TEFL. I would advise teachers of English at all levels, regardless of where they teach to get involved with Premier TEFL. It has made my time as a teacher so enjoyable and has afforded me ease of passage for every aspect of English that I have taught.

Premier TEFL has been an engaging learning process. I am a veteran world language instructor with 20+ years of teaching experience at the university level. I am wanting to travel and teach ESL as I am approaching retirement and decided to get my certification. I have found so much useful information, techniques, and perspectives on the language learning process here. Premier TEFL is remarkably engaging, and the many tips and tools I will immediately put to use in the French classes I am already teaching. Thank you!!!

What would you improve about this program?

Some of the quiz questions were difficult to answer on a technical level. Over-all the testing really helped me to solidify the information, and absorb it better.

I've been wanting to teach overseas for the last year and I finally booked my course when I was a postgraduate student at Kingston University in Southwest, London. I am learning a lot about teaching and the tools that are necessary to use in the classroom. The course has been easy to navigate through and I can go at my own pace. After I complete my certification I'm hoping to start teaching in a few different countries.

What would you improve about this program?

I think the course has a balance between the videos and the coursework.

I purchased the 240 hr expert course package comprising of a the 120hr tefl course and a number of specialist courses including teaching business English and teaching young learners.
I found the courses to be easy to follow and extremely informative and the tips and advice gained has been invaluable. I have enjoyed building on my knowledge through my progression through the courses and found that the layout of the course pages made it extremely easy to track my progress. The downloadable resources and emails have also been very useful.
The staff at Premier TEFL have always been very approachable and eager to help and I have had a thoroughly enjoyable experience both through dealing with the company and through completion of my course.
I would encourage anyone looking into TEFL to make the jump and study through premier tefl, it's a wonderful experience.

What would you improve about this program?

After completion of the course the certificates should be email to the students so that they always have a copy to hand when their courses time out on the student area. They could add more study time as standard to courses requiring more time such as the bundled packages.

What is your favorite travel memory?

During my time teaching in Barcelona, we brought our students on a class trip to a beach on Costa Brava for a day and we went on a hike together.

It was a really great experience to see how excited the students were for the trip (despite the terrible weather that day) --- as it was so basic compared to the extravagant "school tours" we have in Ireland. Though Spain is far from a poor country it was eye-opening to see how a such a simple trip really lifted everybody's spirit (teachers and students alike).

It highlighted the importance of friendship and not taking things for granted. We spent the day laughing and making the most of what we had. I really value those memories.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

This job is a totally new experience for me and I've really cherished every minute. The appreciation received and given to this company for everyone's contribution has had a really positive effect on me. I love coming to work every day, which is a big change.

Furthermore, helping people on their TEFL journeys and guiding them on their travel experiences is really rewarding. Talking to people and hearing their stories has only made me want to travel more as their experiences are so amazing thanks to this company.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

The best story I've heard from one of our students would have to be from one of our greatest students, who is now going back to her internship destination to work alongside our partner in welcoming and guiding future students.

She immersed herself completely into her surrounding culture and really connected well with everyone around her. Simultaneously she did not lose sight of her own culture and made that a part of her host families environment. Stories of her students sleep-talking in English made me super proud.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely take part in the Cambodia program. I think it would be fascinating to teach in a country so different from my own. With this program, you can completely immerse yourself in the culture with language and culinary lessons.

In my opinion, it is impossible to fully embrace a culture without adopting every aspect of it to your life, as best you can. This program, like others, provides great opportunities for this.

I've always had a desire to travel Asia, especially Cambodia so I may be a bit biased for this reason.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

In my opinion, our dedication to keeping in contact with all of our students before and after their programs is what makes this company unique.

We strive to provide the best customer service and I think we do it very well. We believe in being in constant contact with our students as it really makes them feel valued.

We recently moved office location and although I have not been a part of this company long I was very proud of the team for passing this milestone in expanding this brilliant company.
