17 Day Vietnam Explorer

I went on the 17 day Vietnam trip in January with Pinky and Darrin. Both amazing tour guides! I had sooo much fun and would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

The tour had a variety of activities and there is something for everyone from cooking class, cliff jumping, kayaking, caving, orientation walks, bike tours, basket boats, beach days etc etc!! I loved every minute of it!!!

Pinky was very knowledgable and showed us all there was to know about Vietnam! I am now looking in to other Trutravels trips because of my excellent experience on this one! I can’t wait!!

Advice for others is that take a risk and do this tour on your own! It is fun, it is jam packed and you will 100% meet so many incredible people along the way!! Have fun!

This tour was amazing. I have done 3 travel tour and this was by far my favourite. It has amazing things to do an experience which are a hell of a lot of fun as well as so much time to meet loads of different people. Would fully recommend. Pinky an amazing tour guide and has so much experience and knowledge. Darrin is also an amazing tour guide and again has a lot of experience. Both made the tour great and would not of had a good time with out them there. Made us feel safe secure and if we needed anything could go to them!

You do so many different activities and get to experience a whole range of things to do, if you like drinking or not drinking this is included. But if you don’t then it is fine becaus there is options each day to do whatever suits you best. If you don’t want to do an activity you don’t have to and they can provide you with different activity that you want to do

I had such an amazing time with tru travels going from Ho Chi Mihn to Hanoi. Right from the start everything was well organized which made me have no stress and be able to enjoy the journey. The accommodation and transport well exceeded my expectations. Tour guide pinky was very knowledage about history and the culture. My other tour guide Darrin really made the trip for me, if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have enjoyed myself, he was always went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and made sure I was having fun and doing the things I wanted to on the trip. Anytime I had an activity that was outside the tour he figured out the logistics and came along to make sure I was happy and everything went smooth. On the group excursions he made every situation fun even which bad weather, couldn’t ask for more. He really seemed like a friend which made things easy, his upbeat personality and positive attitude was great when some group memeber were down. When I cut my toe wide open he was the first to help and did all the organizing of getting me medical attention and made sure i got the help needed. Being his first trip in Vietnam he still had all the answers and was knowledgeable and simply made the trip for me really fun. The places and excursion we did in the 17 days were amazing, don’t think I would have known or done these things if I was on my own. What a great experience. Makes me want to come back to Vietnam again :)

Jumped on the Tru Travel Vietnam explorer with my girlfriend to experience Vietnam and we have had an absolute blast. Exploring Vietnam with an amazing group of people was truly an experience we will never forget! We had a real mix of ages (24-60) on our group and this tour really did cater for everyone. Both our tour guides where amazing, Justin and Edna, I can not thank them enough. They really made made this experience even better! Always happy, full of infectious energy, helpful, caring and just all round beautiful people! I have to mention it was my birthday on the tour and they went out of there way to book a beaut restaurant and even brought me a cake which was an excellent touch! Justin, carry on doing what your doing pal, amazing memories we will never forget! Thanks again:)

I've had an incredible time in Vietnam, there is so much to do and the on the tour activities are incredible! I had so much everyday highlights being. The Dark Cave in Phong Nha, the Sand Dunes in Mui Ne and of course Castaways in Ha Long Bay.

Along side the incredible itinerary we were allowed to go and experience the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills in Da Nang and the Duck Stop in Phong Nha, which our tour leader organised!

It is honestly one of the best ways to see this incredible country!

I dont even know where to start. Tru Travels exceeded all my expectations. From moment i got picked up from the airport. I received the warmest welcome and instantly became apart of the Tru Family. I cannot Thank Tru Travels enough, If it wasnt for this trip i would never have seen everything and done that i did. All the places we visited were amazing and it was a great balance between culture, history, Activities and partying (If you want to party) Ninhvana was beautiful. we got to make use of the spa, Kayak and play football with the locals. A highlight for me was doing the High Van Pass in open top jeeps. ( Top Gear Style ) The views the whole way were just epic. I loved everything about this trip and i couldn't recommend TruTravels enough. If you are thinking of booking a Tour, Dont if will be the best decision you make. BIG LOVE TRU X

What an amazing trip! The 17days exploring Vietnam with Trutravels was incredible!
We visited all the "must see" destinations and took part in some unbelievable experiences along the way. Trutravels offer a perfect balance of party, adventure and chill.
My favourite moments had to be seeing the plankton for the first time in Halong Bay and making traditional lanterns in Hoi An (The City of Lanterns), the latter was made even more special because all the procedes of the class go towards a charity that helps women who have been physically affected by the War :) It's so good to see a company that gives back to the countries they operate in!
The value for money was amazing, at times I felt like I had underpaid due to the amount of activities included! Not to mention my tour leader Sammy, one word...PRICELESS!
Can't wait to do another TruTour, these guys are the best!
