About Program
One Thousand Hockey Legs (OTHL) is a sports based NGO using field hockey as a medium to provide underprivileged children a career opportunity and improving their life skills and giving them a new direction in life.
Through our volunteering program you will be able to train or coach children in the age group of 11-15 years in hockey. Responsibilities include conducting drills, practice matches, coaching, exercises, preparations for tournaments etc.
You can train kids, teach kids and mingle with their growing minds. We also use the game to impart training in etiquette, general knowledge and spoken English. So, if you don't know hockey but are interested in teaching kids these learning skills, you can still volunteer with us.
We are spread in 5 cities of India- New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Pondicherry and Kanpur. Our main centre is in New Delhi, the capital of India.
