Wish I could stay and take part forever

Honestly, I cannot put into words how phenomenal the team is here! Truly, truly heart-warming. As soon as we arrived, I fell in love with the hospitality!

There was a time when we checked out the church and the team took us around to shake everybody's hand! The vicar, The aunties, The uncles, The nephews, The niece, The grandmother, The grandfather, The cousins, The brothers, The sisters, The daughters, The sons! The chefs, the drivers! EVERYBODY IS WELCOME! My family wanted to extend our stay!! but we couldn't

When tetenda took us through the safari! His banter was phenomenal

A life changing experience!

Community Angels is more than just a volunteer group—it’s a family that nurtures, inspires, and uplifts everyone involved. Working in schools with Community Angels has been a truly transformative experience. The professionalism of the staff, combined with their genuine care and love for the community, creates a supportive and empowering environment and I am so grateful to even be given the opportunity to make a small difference. Their passion for making a difference is contagious, and being part of this journey has shaped me in ways I never imagined. The values and lessons I’ve gained will stay with me for life.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
If you’re considering volunteering with Community Angels, my advice is to fully embrace the experience with an open heart. The work is deeply rewarding, and the team is committed to working collaboratively to improve lives. Be prepared to learn as much as you give—this community will inspire you in ways you never expected, and the impact will stay with you long after you leave.
