About Program

The Tanzania Global Impact Program (TGIP) is flagship initiative of Fair Share Foundation (FSF) designed to connect passionate international volunteers and interns with impactful community-based projects across Tanzania. The program aims to foster global collaboration, promote cultural exchange, and support sustainable development in underserved regions.

Through TGIP, volunteers contribute their time, skills, and knowledge in areas such as education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and women’s economic inclusion, while gaining meaningful cross-cultural experience and personal growth.TGIP ensures a well-coordinated, safe, and rewarding experience for both volunteers and host communities through thorough preparation, ethical partnerships, and ongoing support.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here. Learn more about how Fair Share Foundation is promoting ethical volunteering.
