One of the standout aspects of my internship experience was the level of support and mentorship provided by both AIP and my host company. It almost seems like it was yesterday when I felt like I was stuck in a dead end. I was looking for an internship in Australia as I'm studying here and I didn't have any luck trying to find something in the field that I'm looking for. So I took a safer an somewhat expensive route and that was approaching an internship service like AIP to help me. Without question, the experience was great and straightforward. You definitely get what you pay for. AIP found me a company within weeks of being accepted into the program which allowed me to start as soon as possible. Since the pandemic was slowly dying down, it was good knowing that I could have a feel of a professional environment. Couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity and I would recommend this program to others looking for an internship as soon as possible.

I just feel like everything about this whole internship experience was just a roller coaster.

The process in the beginning was confusing as hell and I wasn't even sure if I was going to get placed into a company. I kept getting bounced to different point-of-contact and at one point, I just got lost in the process. Though, I gotta give it to Emmanuel who kept me on the loop and made sure that I was getting the internship I wanted.

I was also very lucky that I was already in Australia doing my masters so it didn't get complicated finding an internship for me as the country went on lock-down due to the pandemic.

Overall experience was amazing, my colleagues were the coolest and I'll surely continue to be in touch with them.
