Excellent Internship Placement

This company provided a full seamless package that included the internship placement and the accommodation in the host country. They had a variety of internship opportunities and the accommodation itself was homely and people that stayed there were friendly. The hosts gave good recommendations of where to go, where to buy food etc and the communication was very easy (through an app). The internship placement was also what I had applied for and it allowed a hybrid flexibility which was great because I got to explore the host country too as a result. They provided airport pick-up service and had many facilities within the accommodation. Great internship + housing!

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?
Definitely the moment I landed in the host country I was scare and didn't know what to anticipate. Off the bat they had someone pick me up from the airport and bring me to the accommodation and they answered as many of my questions as they could. I was also very nervous the day that I started my internship but they also had someone accompany me to the office using local transport so I can become familiar with this and feel less stressed out.
Pros
  • Friendly people
  • good placement opportunity
Cons
  • share house (hostel style) living
