COMMON QUESTIONS
Can I apply with my friend or partner?
Absolutely! We work with lots of great schools and programs that hire couples and/or friends.
Will I be working with other western teachers?
Yes. The schools we work with employ numerous western teachers (4~8 on average). You can expect to be working with other American, Canadian, British and Australian teachers. The schools also employ a Korean teachers.
I don't have formal teaching experience, does it matter?
No it doesn't. Prior teaching experience, or having an education major, are not prerequisites for teaching in Korea. From the school’s perspective, your personality is the most important.
Do I need to speak any Korean?
Speaking Korean is not a prerequisite. Most western teachers arrive with little or no Korean language skills.
Is South Korea a safe place to live and work?
Korea is an incredibly safe place to live and work as a foreigner. The country consistently ranks as one of the safest countries in the world for work and travel.
Are there any application or program fees?
None. Just to be clear, there are zero fees, upfront or later on, for using our services. We obtain our fees from the schools and programs and Korea. The fees we collect from the schools and programs have zero impact on your salary. Guaranteed.
