I was very satisfied with the experience of completing the Level 5 TEFL course online. The instructions were easy to follow, and the activities were a good balance of fun and serious. I felt like I could engage easily with the work. Everything felt very possible and achievable. This course really encouraged me to get out there and start teaching English. It is very accessible and doable for any kind of person. Each unit I completed felt like an achievement so I felt very inspired to keep going throughout the process of completing the course! :)

Through the TEFL course, I had the opportunity to explore a wide range of teaching methodologies, which allowed me to understand the different ways students learn and how to adapt my teaching style accordingly. I deepened my understanding of effective teaching techniques, from lesson planning and classroom management to engaging students through interactive and communicative approaches. Additionally, the course helped me significantly improve my own proficiency in the English language, while also equipping me with the tools to share my enthusiasm and passion for English in a clear, inspiring, and impactful way. This experience has greatly contributed to my growth as both a language learner and an aspiring teacher.

I would definitely recommend this course, especially if there are no other options to complete it fully in-person. The content is relevant and current. Support is there if you need it. It's harder than I expected it would be - especially as a native English speaker and journalist - but I like that it was challenging. I am excited to begin my teaching journey and this course was an excellent starting point. As a New Zealander, my only disappointment is that although I'm highly experienced and qualified in my journalism/communications career, I don't have a university degree, so that limits where I can apply for jobs.

I did a lot of research before choosing this provider and I’m glad I did. I did the online level 5 TEFL course and it was excellent.

Lots of detailed and practical modules which built up your knowledge. No need for any pre existing knowledge or teaching experience. Lots of real life examples given and helpful materials to use in future.

There were 3 assignments which were very thorough, marked by humans, and were challenging. Detailed, helpful feedback was provided. I feel they really tested my ability to prepare and deliver a real lesson. Excellent course overall. Thoroughly recommend

Taking TEFL Certification in The TEFL Academy has been one of the most wonderful online learning experiences I had. Being a complete beginner in TEFL world had previously made me hesitant to choose TEFL online institutions. However, my decision to start my journey with The TEFL Academy was the best choice. TEFL course (level 5) of TTA is an excellently structured course to follow with admirable student support! Loved the experience and their flexibility specially! I could just submit my last assignment just two days prior to the day of expiration of my course. But TTF offered me a time extension on goodwill as it was my last assignment! If you are planning to follow this, remember time flies, u gotta submit your assignments 14 days prior to your expiry date. Finally, thanks to TTA, um TEFL qualified happy soul! :)

This course gave me exactly what I needed to improve as a TEFL teacher. It was clear and understandable. The course was very logical, and the ‘Top TEFL Tips’ were especially helpful.

The online content was very easy to navigate. The reviews and assessments highlighted key learning points and made these easier to keep in mind when preparing lessons. The online resources were helpful for the course and have also been very useful in real-life teaching. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to teach English as a foreign language.

I really enjoyed doing my Level 5 TEFL certificate with The TEFL Academy. It was extremely informative and full of videos, quizzes, discussions and links to other resources. It includes 10 units which are really helpful. It explains exactly what you need to do to be a successful teacher. My confidence has grown since doing this course and I now feel comfortable about becoming a freelancer. I also thought the assessments were great. They were well written and it was clear what was expected. I would highly recommend this course to anyome wanting to have a recogonised TEFL qualification.

I did the 168 hour level 5 TEFL course and it was a really good experience, i was taught all i needed to know about teaching esl and could tell it was put together by experienced teachers, it was real not robotic, answered questions i had in my mind and given a good amount of time to complete. The knowledge check quizzes were helpful with practice. I was exploring the jobs section out of interest and i saw that every country had descriptions/ overview of how it would be like living there instead of only talking about jobs. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to teach english as a foreign language online or in person.
