I chose this course because of its affordable price, excellent reviews, access to job boards, and the fact that it’s completely self-paced — and it truly didn’t disappoint. As an Argentinian and non-native English speaker, I was pleased to find that the course was very clear and easy to follow.

The content is comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the key aspects of teaching English as a foreign language. I also appreciated the interactive activities included throughout the modules, which make the learning process more engaging. The assignments are a great opportunity to put into practice everything you’ve learned, and the feedback provided by tutors after each one is detailed, constructive, and very helpful for improving your skills.

I took this course because I wanted a slight change in my career path, and I’m really glad I did. It gave me the confidence and knowledge to start teaching English and explore new professional opportunities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in earning a TEFL qualification.

It was a fantastic course and would recommend it to anyone looking to become an ESL Teacher. The advance courses could have been more in depth to better prepare you for a your specific niche. For teachers who have never taught before, there should be an extensive advance course, where they are designated with a live one on one tutor that can prepare them for job interviews, teaching their first one or two classes, and presence/dialogue in front of a camera. This should be an advance course available after your level 5 certification. Enjoy the journey!

As a native english speaker and after learning a new language myself and realizing within my own workspace a need to communicate and lack of same language proficiency, i decided to search for a passion of linguist and educator also with job flexibility on location of work. I came across TEFL Academy and was impressed with the pricing/payment plan as well as the reviews. I invested and saw that this platform was truly full of quality. Each Saturday with a live youtube training on good to know information to apply to your new career. I was self paced and finished in 6 months. Now I am working on my own program to train, do independent business consulting and offer my teaching on tutoring platforms like preply. I definitely enjoyed the instructors in this course, very informational/resourceful. I completed a notebook of 70 pages for the Level 5.

Completing my Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Academy has been one of the best experiences of my life. The course was well structured, professional, and filled with useful and practical content that truly prepared me for real teaching situations.

I especially appreciated how supportive and encouraging my tutor was. The detailed feedback on my assignments helped me improve with every attempt and gave me the confidence to keep going. The course is great because you go at your own pace, the 6 months' time frame given provides ample time for you to go through the topics without relaxing also, if that makes sense lol. I liked You have to complete a module to unlock the next 1, it ensures that you have fully understood the content and can apply it to your assessments and of coarse in the real world. The material was engaging and resourceful and I learnt quite a lot, even though I've been teaching language for a number of years now.

What I found the most interesting part of the course was the sample curriculum from a course designed to improve English speaking.

I saw this as an opportunity to revisit many of the teaching techniques learnt throughout the course and try to apply them. Specifically, I designed all the lesson plans required to cover all the material to be taught and at the end I was in a position to critique my work.

I've enjoyed the content from the first lesson, throughout the whole course. It's a user friendly platform, and systematically played out from the basics you need to know in teaching English to foreign students, to the more advanced details which will equip you to be an excellent TEFL teacher.
I found all content and exercises applicable to teaching ESL students, both in person and online.
I'll highly recommend any prospective TEFL teacher to complete a course through TTA...it's money well spent, and time well invested in one's own education.

My love and passion for education pushes me to learn new things whenever given the opportunity. Enrolling in TTA for a TEFL diploma is one of the best decisions I have made this year. I was able to do the lessons during my free time at work since all I needed was my laptop computer (and sometimes my headset when I had to watch videos). Also, I enjoyed learning about the history of English and teaching English as a second language. I have no regrets in enrolling in the course as I was able to learn many new things while applying these concepts at work.

I have spent countless time to decide which TEFL course was the best fit. Not just regarding money but also the course. I have found out that the TEFL level 5 course to be quite engaging and resourceful. It has taught me things about teaching a language eventhough I have been teaching for 5 years. The support team was responsive and helpful too. Even the assignment, which are actually projects, are challenging enough to prepare you for any kind/type of class.
